MAKAUT MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
MTech at MAKAUT is a full time programme offered for a duration of two years. This programme is offered with various specialisations, including Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Engineering, etc. All these courses are offered in regular mode.
Admission to MAKAUT MTech courses is offered on the basis of a valid score in PGET, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round. For MTech in Biotechnology, however, admission is based on GAT-B followed by PI session. Moreover, the university also accepts valid GATE scores. Candidates with valid GATE scores are given proportionate weightage of the GATE scores. Other than this, students are also required to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

No, admission to MAKAUT is based on entrance exams for courses such as BTech. Candidates wanting to get admission to MAKAUT for BTech must qualify West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) exam and WBJEE Counselling.
