The WBJEE 2026 application form will tentatively be released in the third week of Jan 2026 for MAKAUT admission to BTech and BPharm programs.
- The MAT 2026 Feb session registration is open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Feb 23, 2026, and the test is scheduled for Mar 1, 2026. Further, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Mar 2, 2026, and the test will be held on Mar 8, 2026.
- The CAT 2025 result is out for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates need to log in to check and download their scorecards on the official CAT portal.
- The ATMA 2026 Feb session registration is open until Feb 10, 2026, for admission to MBA/PGDM/MMS courses, and the exam will be held on Feb 22, 2026.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.

Candidates wanting to get admission to MAKAUT for BTech must qualify West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) exam and WBJEE Counselling. Those willing to get admission in the second year must appear for JELET (for Lateral Entry). MAKAUT also accepts JEE Main exam for BTech admission.
The total tuition fee for a two-year MAKAUT M.Tech programme ranges from INR 36,000 to INR 23.9 lakh. Since, this is the totak tuition fees, overall fee may include other components such as security deposists, exam fees, etc. This fee is given in a range, as the fees for a few MTech specialisations vary from the others.

MAKAUT offers a full-time BCA programme. In order to get admission, students must appear for CET. It is conducted by MAKAUT WB. Candidates must have qualified Class 12 to appear for this exam.

If they wish to change, they are required to appear for the necessary entrance test again. MAKAUT offers safe and healthy environment for the students. The university provides modern amenities with state-of-the-art infrastructure to its students and is spread over an area of 40 acres of land at Haringhata, District Nadia, provided by the Government of West Bengal.
