I like my institute so much for the best environment.

Placements: The placements are so good, it is around 90% and the institute also helps in an internship programme during the third year of your college period. The top technical recruiters are Infosys and Tata. They also provide internships to non-circuital branches.

Infrastructure: The buildings of my institute, that is NIT Trichy, are so good and well structured, and the most important thing is that the greenery here is so good. The hostel is well-furnished and also provides Wi-Fi facilities, and the mess food is not that bad to eat.

Faculty: The teachers here are good and helpful, educated, and also friendly. The semester exams are not that tough, almost everyone who attended the class can pass, and the institute's curriculum is strict but helpful for students to learn things about real college life.

Other: I like programming.

The things at last, I want to say that my institute is worth coming here.

Placements: As I am in the CSE department of my institute, the placements are nearly complete. The highest package is of around one crore and twenty Lacs, the average package is around twenty-four Lacs, and the lowest package is around six Lacs. If you want funds, they will also be provided.

Infrastructure: If I start telling about the facilities provided to us, this would go nicely as they provide personal cleanliness in the bathroom, and also provide a clean restroom. They also provide wi-fi facilities too and if you'd like to know about the mess food, it would go better as the years passed.

Faculty: The knowledge of teachers is too good. Some teachers have a Tamil accent in their English, so as a North Indian, I found it a little bit confusing, but I got used to it after some time. The level of the test paper is so good that if you attend class, you can score good.

Other: I would also like to share some things about the club and association. You have to be so active if you want to join any club or sports team and study well.

NITT is very good and worth joining.

Placements: Almost 100% of students get placed in CSE. About 70% of students get an internship in software and management. Companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, and P&G come for placements and internships and offer packages ranging from 10 LPA to 40 LPA. The average package is 25+ LPA.

Infrastructure: NIT Trichy offers state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure like high-speed Wi-Fi in hostels, washing machines in hostels, advanced and well-equipped labs for all departments, and very big and useful libraries. Also, there are different sports facilities and everything is very good.

Faculty: Professors are decent but highly qualified and experienced. The teaching is both theoretical and practical depending on the course. But curriculum is the same as every other top-tier college in India. Colleges are medium difficulty but almost everyone passes.

Other: Pan India level fests and performances at NITT. Scholarships are provided for EWS students and other students who require them.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the good placements, faculty members, and infrastructure.

Placements: There are 2 classes for CSE, which are A and B. Each class has 70 members. 25 LPA is the highest package, and 16 LPA is the lowest for CSE. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Aricent, Ashok Leyland, Facebook, Honeywell, HP, HDFC Bank, ITC, Morgan Stanley, PepsiCo, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), so on.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi network is all over the college. The labs and classrooms have smart board facilities. The quality of the hostel and food is really good. There is a well-facilitated library with proper management. There is a hospital inside NIT Trichy, and there is a stadium as well.

Faculty: A group of students is allotted mentors and pre-mentors to clear their doubts. So, students have no problem with their studies. The passing marks are based on the class percentage, and to have placement, we should maintain an 8 CGPA. The semester exams are hard to medium.

Other: There are so many fests like Pragyan, Festember, NITFest, etc.

The college is good enough to provide us with opportunities, but it lacks in extracurricular activit

Placements: I don't have any figures, but the percentage of placed students will be around 90%. The highest salary was 53 lakhs, and the average salary was 27 lakhs. I don't have any idea about the lowest salary; it may be around 12-15 lakhs. All big companies visit the campus, like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, D.E. Shaw, etc. The internship percentage will be around 30%-50%, but I don’t have specific figures.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good enough, with very fast Wi-Fi and good labs, but there is no AC in any classroom or some labs. Other facilities are decent, but the hostel is not so good in terms of infrastructure, like the quality of washrooms. There is also no washing machine in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you study well and pay attention in class. They are well qualified and knowledgeable, but the quality of teaching is not so good. This is partly due to the students, as many don’t take an interest in the subjects, which causes teachers to lose interest in teaching as well.

Other: In the computer science course, the curriculum is not very industry-oriented. Additionally, the college doesn't provide enough funds for sports materials.

Go for it guys, best college life guaranteed.

Placements: In my depth, placement is always near 100%. The highest package is 64 LPA and the lowest is 12 LPA. The average is around 20–25 LPA. 95/140 students got internships, which is quite low compared to previous years. Software-developed roles are offered, but data analytics and management jobs are also offered.

Infrastructure: Classes are pretty good. But the network and Wi-Fi are not proper. Labs are good and using the latest technologies is good too. We have a free 24-hour hospital. Good sports facilities and are allowed for inter-college championships. Mess food was bad in every college. Trichy doesn't have a lot of places to visit.

Faculty: Yes, professors are good. Yet you need to study; not everything will be taught in class. And for placements, you have to prepare separately. Exams are easy; it still depends on the proof and their mood. Curriculum theory stuff is asked in interviews but never used in real life unless you do research.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. I got placed in a European company with a salary package of 49 LPA. The average salary package offered is 15 LPA. Top companies visit our college to recruit students. Companies are eager to hire everyone.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides good facilities. The food served in the mess is good. Medical facilities are available 24X7.

Faculty: Our teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Many teachers are from the South so it can be difficult sometimes to understand their pronunciation. Many students are from the South.

Other: Many events and fests are held in our college.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in this course. The average salary package offered ranges between 8 LPA to 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered varies between 5 LPA to 10 LPA. Infrastructure: Our campus was huge and beautiful. The infrastructure was good. All facilities were available in this college. Free Wi-Fi was enabled on our campus. Separate hostels were available for both boys and girls. Laboratories were well-equipped. Playground was available. The food quality was decent.

Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and experienced. They help us in terms of studies and projects. The teaching quality was very good. Semester exams were hard. The pass percentage was 80%. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry.

My friend's younger brother has taken admission in NIT Trichy this year through JEE mains. He got 98 percentile well but I think 95+ percentile will be sufficient for you to take admission there.

If you are from general category ,you are not qualified for JEE Adv exam 2019.But that is not the end of the road. Everyone who appeared for Jee Mains are qualified to participate JoSSA counselling which are scheduled to be held after JEE Adv result .Even person at the bottom i.e having Zero percent

JEE Main Reservation Criteria 2020 - National Testing Agency will release the official JEE Main reservation criteria 2020. . Candidates who belong to EWS, OBC, SC, ST, female candidates and Person with Disability (PwD) categories will be eligible to claim reservation in JEE Main.
