The things at last, I want to say that my institute is worth coming here.
Placements: As I am in the CSE department of my institute, the placements are nearly complete. The highest package is of around one crore and twenty Lacs, the average package is around twenty-four Lacs, and the lowest package is around six Lacs. If you want funds, they will also be provided.
Infrastructure: If I start telling about the facilities provided to us, this would go nicely as they provide personal cleanliness in the bathroom, and also provide a clean restroom. They also provide wi-fi facilities too and if you'd like to know about the mess food, it would go better as the years passed.
Faculty: The knowledge of teachers is too good. Some teachers have a Tamil accent in their English, so as a North Indian, I found it a little bit confusing, but I got used to it after some time. The level of the test paper is so good that if you attend class, you can score good.
Other: I would also like to share some things about the club and association. You have to be so active if you want to join any club or sports team and study well.

BEST #9 NIRF ranking among all NITs.
Placements: 79.8 percent of students were placed in civil engineering at NIT Trichy. The highest package is 35 LPA. Average package 13 LPA. The lowest package is 4.5 LPA. 50 percent of students get an internship. A management role is offered. Google, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Flipkart, Amazon, VMart, Dream 11, Godrez recruit.
Infrastructure: Library 24/7 access. Octagon for coding purposes, computer lab. Hostel with every room having personal Wi-Fi access. Medical hospitals are freely available on campus. All categories of sports are available. Mess is awesome. 4 times, food is provided. Memu is awesome, all varieties are covered.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified graduates from an IIT or an overseas university. All the courses at NIT Trichy are worth it, making the students ready for placement, and all are industry-demanding courses. If you study in classes and follow professor blindly, then you will top the semester exam.
Other: I am interested in civil engineering. It's my choice. This branch has an open door in PSU GATE, IT sector, non-core jobs, and UPSC government jobs. Pragyan is a fest.

Make a well thought out judgement, considering all factors.
Placements: A variety of roles come, but the majority are software development and data analytics related. Those are also the most lucrative ones. Preference is given to circuital branches by companies during hiring. The average package for core is 12 LPA. The Training and Placement cell takes good care of managing the entire placement drive. Students do internships from 3rd year onwards. Very few core branch folks choose to stick to their field.
Infrastructure: Hostel buildings are all very old, with some not even having drinking water supply. Wi-Fi has recently been installed in each room and works fine. The Wi-Fi issue you might have read at other places has been resolved. The walls of the hostel are really old, and some even leak during rains. No such indoor games are available inside the hostel, although some have badminton and basketball courts.
Faculty: In the first year, all branches have the same introductory curriculum. The teachers are alright, and the methodology is very old-school. The use of projectors and PowerPoint, although, is very common. There are two cycle tests and 1 end-semester examination. Apart from that, lab practical assignments and quizzes are frequent.
Other: The college is located far from any urban center and has no semblance of human activity outside of campus. As a North Indian, you will face difficulty in adjusting to the culture here.

Academics are really good. Placement-wise, it's also good.
Placements: I am from production department. For my department, median salary is 12.6 LPA, the highest is 38 LPA, and average is 14.91 LPA. Some of them get an internship in FAANG companies. Placement percentage is about 90% with the highest in core branches. In starting, you will feel a big language barrier.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really great. AC and Wi-Fi are available in library. It has full Wi-Fi in the hostel. There are 2,3 seater rooms. Motor vehicles are not allowed for students. Hostel is too clean and well-maintained. Professors are all well-qualified.
Faculty: Almost all faculty members have done Ph.D. from IITs and foreign reputed universities. But a great language barrier in starting, although they speak in English. But their accent is much similar to Tamil. On campus, no problem at all but outside college, everyone speaks Tamil, not even English, and forget about Hindi.

A good start to my career.
Placements: Basically, they had a principle, like passing out, students are invited to college, to help them in preparing for the placement grounds, along with the MNC trainers. HCL Technologies Ltd, LTI Mindtree Ltd, and Persistent Systems are usual recruiters of ours, with some more companies added on every year.
Infrastructure: Students must adhere to the norms of the institution without any questioning. Institution had a strong foundation of knowledge, resources, and features. It's one of the top-ranked institutions in Trichy with effective classrooms. Maintains the students' data more confidentially.
Faculty: Faculty members conduct daily assessments on a few of the selected topics, which makes us familiar with the subjects and makes us feel free from fear. Faculty members' works are recognised by providing them with an excellence award annually. All the faculty members in our college are specialized in their specializations.

Amazing college with decent facilities. But the climate is very hot and there is language barrier.
Placements: The percentage of placements in our course is really nice, it is more than (94)%. Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Micron, Synapse, Google, Amazon, Oracle, TCS, Wipro, Bajaj, etc. (These are mixed companies for electronics, software, and electrical). Chip designer, electro manager, developed (to be honest, I don't know much about the role they offer). The highest and lowest salary is average.
Infrastructure: The facilities are not up to the mark. There are equipments in our lab, but very less in number, and that too sometimes does not work properly. We don't even have the basic facilities like water purifier, it's very hard for us to fill our water bottles from different hostels. We have good computer lab and library, but we don't have Wi-Fi in library. The quality is really nice, they provide amul butter, kellogg's corn flakes, fresh bread, and fruits (It varies from mess to mess, but overall quality is good). But North-Indians may not like the taste initially.
Faculty: EEE is the toughest branch. The curriculum is very vast and is not updated. We have to study many outdated things which are of no use. It's really very hard to manage the course with clubs and fest teams. Many times we have to select one of them. But, we have the advantage of having many options for placements as we have a very vast curriculum. I like the exam pattern, like CT1, CT2, at end-semester. I would say all the things depend on the proof.
Other: I selected the course because I like the electronics domain so much. We have a very good bond with our classmates as our course is very tough so, we are forced to do all assignments and projects together only. It should be updated, and the extra things should be removed to relax the students.

According to the currently available data, no NIT has 100% placement rate for their flagship BTech courses. The placement rate for top NITs ranges between 76% to 93% placements. However, it is worth mentioning that this might be the result of several students opting for higher studies which is commo

With a 300 SC category rank in CAT, your chances for NIT Trichy MBA are relatively high. Based on 2025 data, NIT Trichy generally shortlists SC candidates with CAT percentiles around 60-65. To achieve a 300 rank under SC category, you would need about a 65-70 percentile, or a score of roughly 60-65
