If you want, then you can join, but you have to score well on the GATE entrance.

Placements: Placement percentage here is very good, it is around 90%, and the average placement for the 2025 placement session is around 15.76 LPA or maybe higher. Since results are not made available to us yet, the highest offer is around 55 lakh+, according to some fourth-year students. The number of companies visiting us is many. They include tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Sony, Samsung, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, AMD, Yahoo and highlighting companies are Ceat, Volvo, Volkswagen, LT, Bosch, McAfee, and the list goes on and on and on.

Infrastructure: Hostels are decent, I think. In the first year, there are 3 people in a single room, while the room can hold three people, the cupboards provided are for only two people. Wi-Fi all over the campus with cctv security. Labs are good. The library is good, it has all types of books. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. There are many grounds for different sports. There is also a swimming pool.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly educated and experienced. All courses are two or three credits. Exams are getting very strict. Marking is average. The paper is too tough. Lab exams are good. If someone cheats in the exam, the faculty will give an F in the exam. Some questions are in the exam outside the syllabus. It's like a GATE entrance exam.

I love the college as I got to learn more, and it has good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: NIT, Trichy, is the best for placements. They provide qualitative guidance for students to prepare for placements. Almost all students get placed, provided we have some coding skills. Benz, Texas, and Qualcomm are the top recruiters. The packages vary from company to company. The average package is 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good. A library is available 24/7. The classrooms are very neat and good. The hostels have gym, shuttle courts and other game facilities. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus. Sports facilities are extremely good. We have a swimming pool on the campus. Big cricket grounds and football ground are available.

Faculty: The course structure is good, which is very useful for industrial exposure. Exams and assignments are somewhat hectic. But they are good. Results are given in the form of pointers. 7 pointers is the average score. Toppers get 9 pointers and above. For placements, a minimum of 7 is suggestable, and maintaining a good CGPA is better.

NIT-T is very good in terms of placements, getting professional knowledge.

Placements: In terms of placements, it is very serious. If you are willing to get placed from here, you will definitely get placed. For core electrical engineering, the average package will go around 6 to 7 LPA. Many reputed companies are visiting here especially for PG students.

Infrastructure: As it is an MHRD based institution, no need to tell anything about infrastructure, each and every facility is available here. You can even get passport and driving licence very easily. Hostels are very well maintained with Wi-Fi, washing machines, RO water purifier. I have not faced any infrastructure related issue till now.

Faculty: Here, the faculty are highly qualified, they will design the curriculum. The lecture delivering methods are also very good, you will never feel bored. Some of the faculty will irritate you too much. In terms of industry exposure, there is no need of asking anything. This course is useful in R&D sectors as well as industrial works.
