After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. The answer is both yes and no. admission to all MBA courses is entrance-based at all the MBA offering institutes of PU. While for an Integrated MBA, students need a valid score in JEE Main exam, admission to UBS and UIAMS is subject to a valid score in CATor PU METexams, respectively. Students who wish to get into the specialisations or courses offered by UIAMS are required to appear for PU MET exam and those who wish to get into UBS are required to have a valid score in CAT exam.

Panjab University BCom admission is entirely merit-based for the academic year 2024. Candidates seeking admission to the programme are not required to appear for any entrance exam. Therefore, candidates can get direct admission at Punjab University for BCom.

 For a few courses, such as MA, BA, MLib, etc., admissions are completely based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Students interested in getting into Panjab University must submit the online application form for all UG and PG courses as per their preferred course. Panjab University application process is completely conducted in online mode. The PU application form for admission to UG and PG programmes is released in April, in general. Panjab University Chandigarh BTech is a UG level programme, offered in full-time mode. The University offers BTech in various specialisations such as Chemical Engineering, CSE, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, EEE and many others. Admission to any of the specialisations is offered based on merit and entrance. Therefore, candidates must qualify Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% and secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main, JAC Chandigarh, PSEB 12 etc.. The fee structure of BTech contains tuition fees ranging from INR 92.5 K to INR 6.2 Lakh. Yes, Punjab University does offer Scholarships for ST/SC category. The scholarship are offered keeping the following criteria in consideration:

• Those Students belonging to OBCs so specified in relation to the state/Union Terrritory to which the applicant actually belongs, i.e. is permanently settled, who have passed the Matriculation
• Students who have secured minimum 50% or equivalent grade
• Students belonging to Scheduled Caste and special grants to girls belonging to Scheduled Castes.

Punjab University MBA curriculum is divided into semester pattern across four-semesters. In the first year of the programme, students are required to study foundational subjects while in the second year, they are required to select electives and do a major project. Candidates seeking admission to the Panjab University BCom are first required to meet the eligibility criteria. They must obtain good marks in Class 12 or equivalent examination as Panjab University BCom course admission is entirely merit-based for the academic year 2024.

The Panjab University CAT Cutoff 2024 for the General category students under the All India quota was 85 percentile overall and 85 sectional for admission to the MBA in Human Resource course. For admission to the Master of Business Administration programme, the cutoff was the same, at 85 percentile overall and 50 sectional.
