PESSAT MTech 2023: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

PESSAT 2023 registration has started. Interested candidates can apply online using the direct link given here. PESSAT 2023 exam date has been announced. PES University will conduct PESSAT 2023 from May 17 to June 4. 

The last date to fill PESAAT application form 2023 for candidates from outside Bengaluru was May 8 while the last date to apply for candidates who are willing to take PESSAT at the Bangalore centre only is May 16.

PESSAT 2023 slot booking has started on May 11. All registered candidates need to book a slot for appearing in the exam. PESSAT hall tickets will be issued to all candidates after the completion of slot booking process. 

PESSAT 2023 exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test at the PES University campus and in 44 cities in the country. The shortlisting of candidates for PES University BTech admission will be based on the PESSAT 2023 entrance exam. Admissions into BTech programs will be provided only after qualifying the PESSAT 2023 exam. Students preparing to appear for the exam should check the PESSAT syllabus and exam pattern. What is PESSAT?

PESSAT stands for People's Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test. It is conducted by PES University for admission to BTech and various other programs offered by the institute. Candidates are shortlisted based on their test score as well as their performance in the personal interview round.

PESSAT 2023 Admission Process

Admissions to PES University will be through the entrance exam. Candidates need to first fill the PESSAT 2023 application form and appear in the exam. The detailed step-by-step PESSAT admission process can be checked below. 

STEP 1: Application process

Candidates can apply for PESSAT by filling out a form online. To apply online, the candidate will need to register as a new user. On successful registration, the candidates will get their login IDs. 

STEP 2: Slot booking

After submission of the form, the candidates will be asked to book a slot for the exam. Once they have booked their slot, admit card will be issued. The candidates must download their admit card

STEP 3: PESSAT 2023 Exam

PESSAT 2023 for all courses except B Tech will be conducted at the Bangalore campus. BTech exam will be held at over 44 test centers across the country.

STEP 4: Counselling/Interview

Candidates passing PESSAT 2023 will be called for Counselling and interviews, based on their scores. A merit list will be released which will contain ranks and schedules for the same. 

PESSAT Application Form 2023

The application form of PESSAT 2023 has been released. PESSAT 2023 application form is available online. The last date to apply will be announced later. Interested candidates have to fill the application form within the specified dates and appear in the exam. At the time of applying for PESSAT 2023, candidates also need to upload their scanned image of passport size colour photo. How to Fill PESSAT Form

Open the PES University website

• Click on the "New Candidate Registration" link
• Fill the required details and click on submit button to complete the registration process
• After registration, fill the detailed application form
• Upload scanned image of passport size colour photo
• Pay application fee 

Application forms will be automatically submitted post successful submission of the application fees. Candidates should download and take a printout of their filled application form to keep it safe until the completion of the admission process.

PESSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

PESSAT Slot Booking and Admit Card 2023

PES University will start the slot booking process in June first week. Every candidate who registers for the PESSAT 2023 needs to book a slot for appearing in the exam. Only after booking a slot, a candidate will be allowed to appear in the exam. Post successful slot booking, candidates will be issued PESSAT admit card 2023. How to Book a Slot for PESSAT 2023 Exam 

• Open the PES University website
• Click on the "Registered Candidate Login" link
• Login using the application number and password
• Click on PESSAT 2023 Slot Booking link
• Select the city, date of exam and time from the available options
• Click on the "Confirm" button
• Download the confirmation page of slot booking

Once the slot booking is done, candidates will be issued PESSAT admit card. Candidates need to download and take a printout of their admit card as it has to be carried to the exam centre on the day of the exam.

How to Download PESSAT Admit Card 2023

• Open the PES University website
• Click on the "Registered Candidate Login" link
• Login using application number and password
• Click on PESSAT admit card link
• Download and take its printout

Details about PESSAT exam date and time, address of the exam centre, candidates basic details like roll number, name, photo, signature, parents details and exam day instructions will be mentioned on the admit card. It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the exam centre on the exam day as NO candidate will be allowed to appear in the paper without PESSAT 2023 admit card.

PESSAT Result 2023

The result of PESSAT 2023 exam will be announced in June. Results will be declared online on the PES University website Candidates will have to login to the website using their application number and password for checking the result. Details about subject wise marks secured in the exam and All India Rank will be mentioned in the score card. Candidates who will be declared qualified will be eligible for admission to the institute. Shortlisting of candidates for BTech admission will be on the basis of PESSAT 2023 score.

How to Check PESSAT 2023 Result 

• Open the PES University website
• Click on the "PESSAT Result" link
• Login using application number and password
• PESSAT 2023 scorecard will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take printout of the scorecard

Candidates need to keep safe their scorecard as it will be required at the time of counselling and the admission process.

PESSAT 2023 Counselling

PES University will conduc the PESSAT counselling in two rounds. The date for PESSAT counselling 2023 will be notified after the annnouncement of results. The first round counselling will be conducted in July after the declaration of results while the round 2 counselling will be conducted in AUgust. The complete process of PESSAT counselling will be online wherein all qualified candidates will be required to register online. 

At the time of counselling registration, candidates will have to enter their choices of specializations and campus. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of score in the PESSAT 2023 exam. Post allotment of seats, candidates will have to deposit the seat confirmation fees online to confirm their admission. The date for reporting to the institute will be notified to the candidates after the confirmation of admission by the institute.

PESSAT Scholarships

• MRD Scholarships: If a student secures rank in the top 20% of his/her class (section) in terms of CGPA for a particular academic year, then he/she will get a tuition fee waiver of 40% for the next academic year of study (executed on a semester basis).
• Distinction Awards: If a student scores a CGPA of 7.5 and above for a particular year, then he/she would receive cash prize money as a distinction award. 
• Corporate Scholarships: Many corporates offer scholarships for the students of PSE University in the final year of their education based on merit.
• Rural Scholarship: PES University offers free engineering education to the selected number of students coming from rural backgrounds every year.
• Scholarship for Teaching: Students who will assist their professors in teaching their students shall be compensated for the work.
• Research Scholarship: Students showing keen research intent can work under Professor as research associates and can be compensated for it.
