I would recommend joining this college for students who are very keen on research work.

Placements: Around 2 out of 9 students got placed in our college. Around 5 students opted for higher studies. Around 2 students decided to attempt government exams. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA by Genpact as an assistant junior manager. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA by Lux as an assistant researcher.

Infrastructure: Our college has very well-lit classrooms, corridors, a sports complex, and grounds. There are grounds for football and cricket. Our college has a badminton court, a basketball court, a tennis court, a volleyball court, etc. The library has the best atmosphere. The hostel has 3 dining halls. The food served in the hostel is average. The infrastructure of our college is very good.

Faculty: All teachers are qualified and very well-behaved. The research facilities are very good. They have done research in other institutes in India. Semester exams are easy to pass. The pass percentage of our college is 40%. Almost 85% of attendance is mandatory in our college.

Other: Our college has more than 100 clubs and societies. Students can participate in clubs and societies. Breeze is the most famous fest of SNU. The quality of the whiteboards can be improved. There are around 9 students in our batch.

Best infrastructure, faculty and study environment with equally fun campus life.

Placements: Our college placement sessions start at the beginning of the 4th academic year. There's nearly 100% placement for computer science engineering students and mechanical students. Students from other engineering batches too get a job, but only a few. The chemical engineering gets nearly no placement. Civil engineering students get a few placements. The average salary offered is 4-5 lacs per annum. Most of the engineering students get placed in the college. The non-engineering students do not get campus placements. We have a career development centre which helps with placement sessions by training us, and it's really helpful. Companies like Dell, HCL, Amazon, St. Gobain, Oyo rooms, Birlasoft, TATA Power, MTree, etc., visit the campus for placements.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is one of the best in India. It is a huge campus, and there's a lot of greenery which makes the environment very positive. There's 24*7 Wi-Fi, and each student gets 3 Gb per week. An additional 3 Gb data is available only in the study room. Being a chemistry student, I can assure, you won't get labs any better than this. The apparatus, instruments and machines we use here are the ones most students don't even get to see until their masters degree. The labs are the main attraction. As it's a research-based university, you spend a lot of time in the labs. Also, there's special research block for research projects. The classrooms are huge and are air-conditioned, and they too are in a very good shape. The library is one of the best places on campus. It has a lot of books of all kinds. It's different from other libraries as we have very comfortable sofas and it's fully air-conditioned so that you can enjoy your learning. There are discussion rooms and study rooms so that students can talk as discuss academics. Computers are provided in the library for additional information about research. There's a cafe at the entrance of the library. There's 24*7 ambulance available in case of an emergency. A lady doctor sits from 12-2pm and a male doctor from 5-7 pm every day, and the doctor consultation is free of cost, we can also order medicines if we need any. The food in our mess is very good. The regular breakfast, lunch, and dinner itself are very tasty. If we need anything apart from the regular meal, we can order food through mess cards, and its balance is already paid through fees. We can also eat in the stalls between C and D academic blocks or near 3A hostel in tuck shop. We have 2 dining halls. It's a residential university. In first year it's compulsory to stay in 4 bedded room. In the second and third year, twin sharing rooms, and in the 4th year, single rooms are provided. Hostels are well built. All rooms have windows, and everyone in the room gets own cupboard, study table with drawer, a bookshelf, and a bed. There are common bathrooms. We can ask for pest control or fixing of anything, and all our issues are resolved with no additional charges. There are a lot of sports that can be played here in campus e. g., volleyball, football, basketball, cricket, tennis, table tennis, squash, badminton, etc. A well-equipped unisex gym, also a place for practising yoga is available. There's no swimming pool.

Faculty: We have one of the best and most highly qualified faculty. The faculty members are not only highly qualified but are very friendly, and we can easily reach them and ask them any queries without any hesitation. Most teachers teach through slides, but in my case, they ask us what we are comfortable with and what helps us to learn better. And we do just learn theory in class here and actually perform and practice them in our labs. Our course curriculum allows us to study subjects other than our major and we can do minor in another subject too. Here, after the first year, we can change our major if we believe we took the wrong decision. Here, everyone is provided with scholarships during admissions and to maintain it we have to get 6.5 CGPA every year. In departments other than engineering, the student to teacher ratio is 10:1, and on an average, it's around 50:1. The students here get a chance to do OUR project which is Opportunities for Undergraduate Research project which gives undergraduate students an idea about research and they can do practicals and understand even more in the areas of their interest.

Other: We have two main fests, of which one is inter-college fest known as Breeze, and the other is intra-college. Other than these two, almost all the festivals are celebrated here. We get a holiday on both Saturday and Sunday, and the summer breaks are nearly three months long and winter breaks nearly 1 month. There are many clubs for dance, music, debate, TED talk, acting, painting, etc. There are different sports teams that you can join depending on your interest and abilities. Movies are played on every Friday and Saturday night. There are on-campus jobs available here. The campus is in middle of nowhere, as it's in a village called Dadri, but the campus is heavily guarded, and it very safe to roam on the campus even at 3 am. The cabs are easily available and you can easily go to Noida or Delhi, which are pretty close. As mentioned earlier everyone gets a scholarship depending on their 12th percentage and their SNU entrance exam.
