SNUSAT 2026 Exam Pattern: Shiv Nadar University will release the SNUSAT exam pattern soon. Candidates can check the SNUSAT 2026 exam pattern at the official website of Shiv Nadar University, Noida. The test pattern of the exam outlines the structure of the SNUSAT 2026 question paper, type of questions, marking scheme and other elements of the test structure. As per the expected SNUSAT exam pattern 2026, the exam will be conducted online from test centres identified by Pearson VUE with two sections, including quantitative reasoning and logical reasoning. Shiv Nadar University also conducts APT exam along with SNUSAT for admission to few BTech courses. SNUSAT remains common for all the courses; while the APT is a course-specific test with questions from Physics and Mathematics.

Academic Proficiency Test (APT) 2026

SNUSAT will be followed by APT exam for candidates applying to BTech programs and BS Computer Science. The APT subject combinations application for these subjects include Physics and Mathematics. The duration of APT exam is 60 minutes, with 30 minutes for each subject.

Shiv Nadar University accepts admission to courses based on four different routes for BMS and BSc Economics & Finance. These four routes include:

  • Route 1: SNUSAT Please click here for details.

  • Route 2: College Board SAT – Candidates can apply with a valid SAT score.

  • Route 3: ACT Candidates can apply with a valid ACT Score

  • Route 4: CUET + Screening Form + Class 12th Marks.

Candidates can get admissin to Shiv Nadar University based on any of the four routes. Those who are appearing for CUET will have to fill the screening form to apply for SNU admissions. Along with CUET scores, the varsity will take into account, Class 12 scores.

Q:   Are there any negative marks in SNUSAT entrance exam?

No. There is no negative marking in SNUSAT exam. Therefore, candidates must answer all the questions irrespective of knowledge of correct answer.

The SNUSAT exam is conducted in physical mode at Pearson VUE centres. Candidates must appear for the exam in designated test centres that are identified by Pearson VUE. Candidates will find their test centre mentioned on the admit card, Those failing to appear at the designated exam centres will not be allowed to take the SNUSAT exam.

Shiv Nadar University offers admission into the following departments of the university:

  • School of Engineering (SoE)
  • School of Humanities & Social Sciences (SoHSS)
  • School of Natural Sciences (SoNS)
  • School of Management & Entrepreneurship (SoME)

The BTech courses are offered exclusively by the School of Engineering under Shiv Nadar University. B.Tech course admission requires the candidates to appear for both SNUSAT and APT. Applicants who are interested in other schools need not take the APT. However, those who wish to apply for any programme within the School of Engineering must take two subject tests in Physics and Maths, each lasting for 45 minutes.
