
CUET UG 2026 registration will commence in first week of March 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates seeking admission to UG courses of top univerities must apply for exam. NTA will release the CUET form 2026 in online mode only. Aspirants must check the CUET 2026 eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The CUET fees 2026 vary according to category, number of subjects opted for, and exam city.
CUET UG 2026 will be held tentatively in May/June 2026. The CUET exam is conducted in CBT mode. It is held in 37 states and UTs in India and 24 countries outside India. The official NTA CUET notification 2026 will be released online. Previous year, CUET UG 2024 recorded the maximum number of registrations from Uttar Pradesh (3,43,067), followed by Delhi (1,44,406). The mode of examination for CUET UG 2026 subjects will be announced after registration.

Academic Qualification

Students should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board in Science or a relevant stream to be admitted to bachelor’s degree programmes in the Central Universities.

Students in Class 12 who are yet to appear for the Board exam are also eligible to apply.

Step 3: Examination Centre Selection: Candidates must choose two CUET exam centres: states and city choices in the preferential order in which they wish to appear for the exam.

Step 4: CUET Test Paper/CUET Domain Subject Selection

Candidates can select a minimum of three and a maximum of five subjects or papers.

Along with the CUET domain subject selection, candidates also have to select the medium or language of the question paper they wish to opt for.

In case of selecting less than five subjects, candidates have to select the NA: Not Applicable option for the rest of the subject fields.

Step 6: Application Fee Payment
Candidates must pay the application fee to submit the CUET 2026 application form. Candidates get various online options to pay the CUET application fee like net banking, UPI and wallets. Candidates will not be allowed to pay the CUET fee 2026 in offline mode. The fee will vary for overseas candidates.
