IPMAT admit card 2025 will likely be released in the second week of May 2025. Candidates who successfully register for the exam before the last date of registration can download the IPMAT 2025 hall ticket. Candidates can download their IPMAT hall ticket by entering login details i.e. Application Number/User ID and Password in the login window.

Q:   When will the IPMAT admit card release?

A:

IPMAT admit card for the exam scheduled to be conducted on May 23, 2024, was released on May 13, 2024. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam and paid the application fee will be able to download the IPMAT admit card. The candidates can use their login credentials to download the IPMAT hall ticket online. 

Here is a brief guide on how to download the IPMAT admit card:

  1. Visit the official website of IIM Indore
  2. Click on the download IPMAT admit card/ hall ticket button on the admission page of IPM
  3. Enter the application number and password
  4. Click on Submit button
  5. Click on the link to download the admit card and download the same.

 Take a print out of the IPMAT admit card as this is an important document which is to be carried to the IPMAT exam centre.

 

Q:   Who is eligible to download the IPMAT admit card?

A:

The IPMAT admit card will be available online on the official website. Students who have successfully submitted the IPMAT application form before the deadline can download their IPMAT admit cards. But, if the candidate has not paid the IPMAT application fee, then they will not be eligible to download the IPMAT admit card. Hence, the candidate must have completed the entire IPMAT application process in order to download the IPMAT admit card. 

The candidates must note, that the IPMAT admit card will have correct details only if they have filled the application form with correct and true information. If there is a discrepancy in the admit card, students should immediately contact the examination authorities. 

 

Q:   Which details will be mentioned on the IPMAT admit card?

A:

IPMAT admit card will be released online and is a mandatory document to be carried to the IPMAT exam centre to gain entry in the exam hall. Candidates will not be permitted inside the IPMAT exam centre without the admit card. Candidates appearing for the IPMAT exam should check the details mentioned on the admit card. The admit card must contain the following information:

  • Name of the candidate

  • Signature and photograph of the candidate

  • Roll Number

  • Time and venue of the exam centre

  • Instruction related to the exam

  • Space for the invigilator’s signature 

In case any of the detail is incorrect or missing, the same should be reported immediately to the officials. Also, in case the admit card is inaccessible, the candidate should immediately get in touch with the authorities. Q:   Is IPMAT exam available for international students? How should we apply?

A:

Yes, international applicants fulfilling the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Five Year Integrated programme in management (IPM) of IIM Indore.

  • They should have secured a minimum of 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations from any of the recognised Central or State or International Boards
  • They must be a maximum of 20 years of age as on July 31, 2024.
  • The candidates must have a valid SAT score of a minimum of 1300 out of 1500 (SAT score obtained during November 1, 2022, to May 20, 2024, will only be considered as valid scores)
 

Q:   What if I forget my password while downloading the IPMAT admit card?

A:

To login into the IPMAT candidate portal, candidates will require their User ID and password. In case the candidates forget their password or user ID, they can follow the steps mentioned below to know how to retrieve the same.

  1. Visit the official website of IIM Indore.
  2. Click on the candidate portal tab
  3. Now, click on the Forgot password button.
  4. Select the credential that you wish to retrieve.
  5. Enter the date of birth (as mentioned in the application form), registered mobile number and registered email ID which were used at the time of IPMAT registration.
  6. Candidates now need to enter the captcha code and click on the reset password button.
  7. Candidates will receive a reset link on their registered email Id and mobile number. Click on the reset link and the candidates will be redirected to a new webpage where they can set a new password.
 

Q:   Will I get a hard copy of the IPMAT hall ticket?

A:

No, candidates can only download the IPMAT admit card online from the website of IIM Indore. Once the candidates have successfully registered for the IPMAT exam, they will be allowwed to download the IPMAT admit card once released. To download the IPMAT hall ticket, candidates need to use their login credentails which were generated during the registration process. 

Candidatss will not be given a hard copy by post or otherwise of the IPMAT hall ticket.

How to Download IPMAT Admit Card 2025?

Follow the below-mentioned steps to download the admit card:

  • Visit the official website of IIM Indore
  • Click on the ‘Admit Card’ tab
  • Enter the Application Number or User ID and Password
  • Login using the login credentials
  • IPMAT 2025 admit card will appear on the screen
  • Download and take a printout of the same 

Q:   What is the reporting time for the IPMAT exam?

A:

Candidates must report to the IPMAT exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam. The IPMAT exam will take place from 2 PM to 4 PM at various test centres, hence, candidates must reach the exam centre the latest by 1 PM. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam centre before 4 PM (afternoon session). Also, they can not re-enter the exam centre once they have submitted the exam.

 

Q:   How can I know my IPMAT test centre?

A:

Registered candidates will be able to know the details regarding their allotted IPMAT exam centre through the admit card. Important details such as the allotted exam centre name, address and more details will be made available through the IPMAT admit card. Therefore, the candidates will have to download the admit card and check the details carefully. In case of any discepancies, the candidates are advised to contact the authorities immediately.  

 

Q:   Can I show a digital copy of my IPMAT admit card at the exam centre?

A:

No, digital copy of the IPMAT admit card will not be considered valid for the verification purpose at the IPMAT exam centre. Candidates have to carry a coloured printout of the IPMAT admit card to gain an entry. IPMAT admit card is a mandatory document which is to be carried to the exam centre along with a recent coloured passport size photograph affixed to it. The photograph should match the one uploaded in the IPMAT application form. IPMAT admit card is a mandatory document which is to be carried to the exam centre and candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre without the admit card. Along with the admit card candidates should carry the following items:

  1. Original Photo ID proof issued by the Government of India - Original Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Voters Card/Permanent Driving License Ration Card and Learners Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof
  2. One clear black and white photocopy of ID proof
  3. Two clear coloured copies of the IPMAT admit card along with one original recent passport-size photo affixed on each of them

Candidates should check the details mentioned on the admit card. The admit card must contain the following information:

  • Name of the candidate

  • Signature and photograph of the candidate

  • Application Number

  • Time and venue of the exam centre

  • Instruction related to the exam

Q:   What is the IPMAT exam duration and slot?

A:

The IPMAT exam is held for two hours or 120 minutes. There is only one slot for the IPMAT exam. IPMAT exam also has a sectional time limit of 40 minutes per section. The candidates need to solve the question paper in 120 minutes and this means that the candidates will have approximately two minutes to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 40 minutes get over, the screen will automatically redirect to the next section. The test will end automatically once 120 minutes of the test are over. The IPMAT exam is conducted in the afternoon shift. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates must make sure that they reach the IPMAT exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the examination in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre 15 minutes before the exam time.

 

Q:   Is IPMAT admit card valid without a photograph?

A:

No, candidates must paste a recent passport size photograph on the IPMAT admit card to make it valid. The candidate's photograph affixed to the IPMAT hall ticket must match the photograph uploaded in the IPMAT application form. Candidates must paste a coloured photograph on the IPMAT admit card.

 

IPMAT 2025: Exam Day Instructions

Check out the exam day instructions below before appearing for the IPMAT 2025 exam:

  • Applicants are advised to report to their allotted exam centre for IPMAT 2025 at least an hour before the exam timing.

  • Students who are new to the location must make sure that they check the exam centre a day before the exam to avoid last day hassle.

  • They must also ensure that they carry their IPMAT 2025 admit cards to the exam hall. Entry will not be allowed to candidates found without admit cards.

  • Do not carry any electronic gadgets including watches, mobile phones, calculators, etc. 
  • No food items will be permitted inside the exam hall.
  • Do not indulge in unfair means or the candidate will be barred from taking the exam.

Q:   What all items can I carry to the IPMAT exam centre?

A:

Every candidate must carry a simple blue/black ball point pen and a two copies of their passport size photo to the IPMAT exam centre. They must not carry any stationary item other than the pen. Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, IPMAT candidates are required to carry drinking water, hand sanitizer, face mask and gloves along with them. They have to carry drinking water in a transparent bottle. No other item will be allowed inside the exam venue. They also must not carry bags or valuables as there will be no arrangement for depositing while candidates appear for the exam. Candidates must also not carry notebooks or rough paper to the IPMAT exam centre. Any candidate found with an unauthorised item will be disqualified.

 

Q:   What are the don'ts of the IPMAT exam day?

A:

On the day of the IPMAT exam, it is essential to be well-prepared and avoid certain mistakes or "don'ts" to ensure a smooth experience. Here are some important "don'ts" to keep in mind:

  1. Do not reach late to the exam centre. Ensure that you reach the exam center well before the scheduled reporting time. Try to reach at least an hour before the exam begins. Arriving late may lead to disqualification or not being allowed to enter the exam hall.

  2. Don't forget the IPMAT admit card. Make sure to carry a printout of your IPMAT admit card/hall ticket to the exam center. Without the admit card, you may not be allowed to appear for the exam.

  3. Don't carry prohibited items such as electronic devices (mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches), study material, notes, bags, or any other items that are not allowed as per the exam guidelines.

  4. Don't panic. Maintain a calm and composed mindset throughout the exam day. Panicking or getting overly stressed can affect your performance. 

  5. Don't engage in malpractice and refrain from any form of malpractice or cheating. Any form of unfair means can result in disqualification and strict consequences.

  6. Don't ignore exam instructions. Listen carefully to the exam invigilator's instructions before starting the exam.

  7. Don't leave early after completing the exam. Review your answers and ensure you haven't left any questions unanswered or marked incorrectly. Revise the answers before submitting your answer sheet.

By avoiding these "don'ts" and adhering to the exam rules and guidelines, you can have a better exam experience and maximize your chances of performing well in the IPMAT exam.

 

Q:   Is it allowed to take a notebook to solve questions in IPMAT?

A:
No, it is not allowed to take a notebook to solve questions in IPMAT (Integrated programme in Management Aptitude Test). IPMAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for admission to its five-year integrated management programme. The exam is conducted in online mode and is designed to test the candidate's aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability. Candidates are provided with a virtual calculator on the computer screen to solve the questions during the exam. However, they are not allowed to carry any physical calculators, mobile phones, or any other electronic devices inside the examination hall.
