Actually, it is a good college with an excellent campus and placements.
Placements: Students must pass an entrance exam conducted by the university. If they pass, they will be selected. The highest salary is Rs. 50,000, the lowest is Rs. 20,000, and the least is Rs. 15,000. Medical coding companies and hospitals recruit students. About five of our seniors are working at Ramachandra as perfusionists and medical coders.
Infrastructure: There are demo classes in the hospital for teaching purposes, and internal classes take place in the lecture hall at the college. Free Wi-Fi facility is available for SRMIST students. The college also has a well-equipped library with a dedicated study space. The hostel provides good food and offers various facilities, including a gym, study area, play area, and labs, ensuring a comfortable and conducive environment for students.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified with an M.Sc. in Perfusion and provide good teaching while assisting students in their studies. The course effectively prepares students to begin their careers in the hospital field. Theory papers are relatively easy however, the viva conducted by doctors is slightly challenging. The passing mark for exams is set at 40.
Other: I choose this course because it is unique. I think practical knowledge for students can be improved. Only one event, Panacea, is conducted for medical students, and no other events are held.
Which university has better placements: SRM or LPU?
