Here’s the minimum eligibility criteria and seat intake for all MSc specialisations:

MSc Specialisation	Eligibility Criteria
Applied Data Science	- A pass in BCA or BSc in either IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Electronics or triple major subjects with Computer Science as one of the major subjects with at least 50% aggregate - At least 50% in Class 10 and Class 12 Read more about this newly launched course
Biostatistics and Epidemiology	A pass with first class in a bachelor’s degree in Medicine, AYUSH, Dental, Engineering, Arts and Sciences or have an equivalent degree or studied Mathematics at Class 12 level
Health Data Science	A pass with first class in a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science and other degrees or have studied CS at Class 12 level from a recognised university in India or abroad
Medical Anatomy	A pass in BSc in Zoology, Botany, Bioscience or Biology, BSMS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS, BPT, MPT, MOT with not less than second class result
Medical Physiology	A pass in BSMS / BDS/ BPT/BOT / BSc Zoology / Physics / Botany / BSc Life Science MPT, MOT with not less than second class result
Medical Biochemistry	A pass in BSc Biochemistry, BSc MLT or BSc Chemistry as major or ancillary subject with not less than second class result
Medical Microbiology	A pass in BSc Zoology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences & BDS with not less than second class result
Community Health Nursing	A pass in BSc Nursing/ BSc (Hons) Nursing/ Post-Basic BSc Nursing with minimum 50% aggregate and 1-year experience

Audiology	- A pass in BASLP/ BSc (Speech & Hearing) with 55% aggregate - Applicants shall not be older than 30 tears as on July 1 of the year of admission
Speech Language and Pathology
Biotechnology	A minimum of 50% aggregate in BSc Biotechnology / BSc Biology / BSc Microbiology / BSc Biochemistry /BSc Agriculture / BSc Physics / BSc Botany / BSc Zoology / BSc Chemistry / BTech Biotech / MBBS / BDS / BVSC / Genetics / any UG course with Biotechnology as one of the subjects/ triple major subjects and BSc (Medical Lab Technology)
Chemistry	A minimum of 50% aggregate in BSc Chemistry with Chemistry as a major subject or triple major with chemistry as one of the major subjects
Information Technology	A minimum of 50% aggregate in BSc Computer Science or BSc (IT) or BCA or BSc Mathematics or BSc Statistics or BSc Physics or BSc Electronics triple major subject with Computer Science as one of the major subjects
Mathematics	A minimum of 50% aggregate in BSc Mathematics with Mathematics as a major subject or BSc triple major with Mathematics as one of the major subjects
Physics	A minimum of 50% aggregate in BSc Physics with Mathematics as an ancillary subject or BSc triple major with Physics as a major subject
Visual Communication	A minimum of 50% aggregate in any UG degree
Yoga	A minimum of 50% aggregate in any degree in any discipline from any recognised university

SRM Institute of Science and Technology MSc Eligibility & Highlights 2026

SRM University MSc admission 2026 is based on separate entrance tests for Science and Humanities department. Below mentioned are the important highlights of the eligibility and selection criteria:

Admission to MSc in Applied Data Science is offered on the basis of SRM Future Skills Test followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round. This two-year newly-launched MSc, available in both full-time classroom and weekend hybrid modes, is also inclusive of an internship programme that will help students gain valuable work experience, explore a career path, give them an edge in the job market and allow students to test specific techniques learned in the classroom before entering the working world.
Admission to MSc in Nursing specialisations and MSc in Clinical Psychology is based on a valid score in SRMJEEH (PG)
For MSc in Audiology and MSc in Speech-Language Pathology, admission is based on a department-level exam followed by an interview
For all the remaining specialisations, admission is subject to fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria set by the deemed University
