To get into SRM University, candidates need to acquire a cutoff rank of 80 for MAT and 50 for XAT under open category. Comparing it to the previous years' cutoff, it remained same over the years. No change has been witnessed in the cutoffs in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

As far as I know, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, commonly known as SRM University, requires candidates applying for B.Tech Computer Science to have studied Mathematics as a mandatory subject in their 10+2 or equivalent examination. Mathematics is a core subject for engineering courses, and it is expected that students have a good understanding of the subject before starting their B.Tech degree. Therefore, it is unlikely that a candidate can get admission to B.Tech Computer Science at SRM without having studied Mathematics in their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
