Other: The college has a nice lab facility. There are mini projects for every semester. Should have employed qualified teaching staff for robotics. No placements for robotics in SRM. May be some IT companies consider M.Tech robotics for placements. The college is not worth the amount(college tuition fee) paid.

It is a below-average college.

Placements: Students with keen interest and dedication surely do get placed. Apart from that, placements are open to everyone and most students will get placed in some company or the other. The college will try to set you up in any work field or with a PG.

Infrastructure: The hostel is good enough. It has food that is survivable and good accommodation. The hostel is expensive now. It used to be cheaper, but now it's not worth it. It is better to take a PG or flat outside of college and stay there. I would not recommend hostels to anyone unless they want to live a routine life and be provided with what is required every day on time.

Faculty: Exams are very strict and very stressful. The administration doesn't care about our mental health during the exam period. The college administration doesn't provide enough breaks between the exams to prepare well for the upcoming exams, which makes it a lot tougher to be well prepared for the exams and score well.

Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the SRM University. Candidates with valid score in GATE/TANCET need not to appear for SRMJEEE (PG). International applicants are exempted from taking the All India Entrance Examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
