M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication 

at Madras University, Chepauk

• MA Economics: BA Economics/BCom/BA Corporate Secretaryship/ Mathematics/BSc Statistics.
• MA Journalism & Mass Communication:  Preference for candidates with a media background and experience of not less than three years.
• MA English: BA English or BA & BSc with Part-II English.

Madras University placement rate has not been published, but in 2024, 483 students were placed out of 1298 students in PG -2year program. While only 7 students out of 24 secured placements in PG -3year program.
