University of Hyderabad Admission Process 2025: CUET UG Counselling Process 2025
The University of Hyderabad adopted CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. UoH admission 2025 for Integrated PG courses such as Integrated MSc and Integrated MA is to be conducted through common counselling conducted by the University of Hyderabad. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants who have qualified the exam register for the counselling process.
Step 1: Register for University of Hyderabad UG Counselling via CUET UG
- Register on the UOH-Samarth portal (uohydcuet.samarth.edu.in) before the deadline
- Pay the application fees which are: INR 600 for General category students, INR 550 for EWS students, INR 400 for OBC NCL candidates and INR 275 for SC/ST and PWD candidates.
- Candidates need to make only one payment for courses belonging to each cluster. However, merit lists will be prepared for each course separately. After the successful payment of the application fees, an application form number will be generated. Candidates must take the printout of the application form and keep it safe for future correspondence.
Step 2: Merit List Release and Document Verification upon Selection
Check for Merit List. If selected, visit the University campus for physical reporting for admission counselling and document verification.
Step 3: Confirmation of Admission
To confirm admission students can make admission fee payments to confirm their seat.

University of Hyderabad BTech Admission 2025
At the UG level, the HU runs a 4-year BE/BTech programme for those interested in pursuing engineering. The minimum eligibility for the same is passing Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and having a valid JEE Main score. The University lays down eligibility and cut-offs every year to shortlist candidates. As per the official website of the University of Hyderabad, it offers a five-year Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science admission to which is subject to candidates meeting the minimum eligibility and a valid score in JEE Main exam. The School of Computer and Information Sciences under UoH has introduced this five year Integrated M.Tech programme with effect from the academic year 2014-15. There are no B.Tech programmes available through the University of Hyderabad. It does, however, provide admission to a five-year Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, provided that applicants complete the necessary requirements and obtain a passing score in the JEE Main exam. With effect from the academic year 2014-2015, the School of Computer and Information Sciences at UoH launched this five-year Integrated M.Tech degree. After five years, students receive an M.Tech degree; however, there is no way out before that point.
The cutoff trend for Int. BTech+MTech at UoH - University of Hyderabad has been increasing in the recent years. The cut off ranks have changed from 40858 to 47353 for OBC, 136705 to 83005 for SC, 2137 to 1623 for ST, 28346 to 41862 for EWS, 189648 to 368 for PWD.
