ULSAT 2026 Registrations are currently ongoing. The last date to apply for the ULSAT exam is January 20, 2026. Candidates who want to take admission at UPES have to fill the ULSAT Application Form 2026 for 5-year integrated BA LLB/ BBA LLB and 3-year LLB courses on the website, upes.ac.in. After completing the application form, candidates will have to book a test slot to appear in the ULSAT 2026 exam online.

The UPES Law School Admission Test 2026 for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses will be conducted according to the date and time slot booked by the candidates. The exam will be held in a computer-based proctored mode. Candidates need to ensure that they meet the prescribed ULSAT 2026 eligibility criteria for their respective law programme. To complete the application process, the candidates first need to get registered, pay the application fee, log in, and complete the rest of the application form.

How to Fill UPES ULSAT Application Form 2026

Candidates must ensure to fill out the ULSAT application form before the last date. Candidates can fill out the ULSAT 2026 application form in the following manner. 

  • Visit upes.ac.in and click on ‘Apply Now’.
  • Enter the details like name, date of birth, nationality, mobile number, course, etc.
  • Verify the mobile number by entering the OTP.
  • After that, note the application number and password generated and sent to the registered mobile number.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • Enter the qualifying exam details.
  • Submit the form.

Note: Candidates with CLAT or board exam marks can also apply for ULSAT 2026.

ULSAT Application Form 2026 Direct Link

The direct link to access the official ULSAT application form is at admission.upes.ac.in

Candidates need to follow the pointers mentioned below to fill out the ULSAT application.

  • After applying for ULSAT, candidates must keep a regular eye on the registered mobile number and email id. UPES sends details of the further process, like ULSAT 2026 slot booking and ULSAT admit card release via the same medium.
  • Applicants who apply via board exam marks / CLAT  marks have to submit their scores to participate in the selection process. The link for submission of required details will be available on the UPES website after the declaration of results for each round of CLAT/ board exams.
  • One applicant can fill out one application form for either of the admission pathways. However, the university will provide the opportunity for students to take admission through either of the pathways.
  • Applicants can “EDIT” the application form at their student portal through their user ID and password.

ULSAT Eligibility Criteria and Application Modes 2026

There are three modes in which candidates can apply for law admission in UPES, these are-

ULSAT Eligibility Criteria

1. Based on the ULSAT entrance exam

  • Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).
  • For LLM - Minimum 50% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary level (X and XII) and Minimum 50%marks in Graduation with LLB Degree or equivalent.

2. CLAT/LSAT India scores

For BA LLB (Hons)/ BBA LLB (Hons) / BCom LLB (Hons) 

  • 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th)
  • CLAT AIR ranking up to 15000 / L-SAT India Percentile of 60 percentile or above.

For BTech LLB (Hons)

  • 50% marks in class 10 and 12 PCM.
  • CLAT AIR ranking up to 15000 / LSAT India score of 60 percentile or above.

For LLM 

  • Minimum 50% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary level (X and XII) and Minimum 50%marks in Graduation with LLB Degree or equivalent.
  • Valid CLAT PG rank

3. Class 12th merit

For BA LLB (Hons) / BBA LLB (Hons) / BCom LLB (Hons)

  • 80% marks in 10th and 12th main five subjects (English as one of the compulsory Subjects).

For BTech LLB (Hons) - 

  • 70% marks in 10th, 12th (with PCM).

The application fee for ULSAT is INR 1,750. The application fee has to be paid at the time of filling out the ULSAT application form. It can only be paid online by using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. The ULSAT application fee is the same for all law courses. Once candidates submit the application fee, it will not be refunded. Thus, the ULSAT application fee is non-refundable and only needs to be paid when candidates want to appear in the ULSAT entrance exam.

No, you cannot get into a National Law University (NLU) with a ULSAT score. NLU admissions for the 25 participating NLUs is done through the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). For NLU Delhi the AILET is conducted. ULSAT is for UPES, not NLUs, so you need CLAT or AILET scores.

Yes, you can get admission based on CLAT Score. Apart from that you can also appear for ULSAT Exam conducted by the university.

ULSAT Exam Result will be published online. Since the whole admission process is completely online nothing will be published offline. Candidates must not trust anything published offline.

The ULSATisn't considered extremely tough, especially if you're preparing for exams like CLAT. It is a moderate-difficult exam conducted in online mode with no negative marking. As the pattern is similar to other law entrance exam it is easy to clear.
