ULSAT Important Dates 2026 - UPES Dehradun will conduct the ULSAT 2026 exam in a Computer-Based Proctored mode. Aspirants will be able to check the exam date by logging in to the candidate's portal. Candidates will be able to appear for the exam from their home as per the slot chosen at, upes.ac.in. The University of Petroleum and Energy Law School Admission Test 2026 for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses will be conducted according to the time and date of the exam slot that candidates book.

ULSAT 2026 Dates: Important Events
The UPES examination cell will communicate the registered candidates about the exam schedule via their registered email ID and mobile number, candidates must be responsible. There are certain events that cannot be missed and hence candidates must be aware of them beforehand-
1. The Application Form for ULSAT 2026 will be released online for a specific period of time. Hence, candidates must know the last date to apply for ULSAT 2026. The candidates completing the application process in the given time frame, will be allowed to appear for the exam.
2. ULSAT 2026 slot booking and admit card: The registered candidates will be able to book the slot for their exam using the login credentials. Out of the available exam dates, candidates can select any one exam date and time slot at their convenience to take ULSAT 2026. After the ULSAT slots are booked, admit card is generated. Candidates have to download the ULSAT 2026 admit card and print it. On exam day, the admit card must be carried to gain entry at the center allotted.
Note: Slot booking and admit card release is applicable for the ULSAT CBT exam. For the online proctored exam, candidates shall be contacted separately via registered email id and mobile number regarding the next steps.
3. ULSAT 2026 Result: Once the exam is over, UPES gradually releases the result for the entrance test. The result is put up online inside the respective login of the candidates on the official website. The candidates need to check their ULSAT 2026 scores, download the scorecard and keep it safe.
4. ULSAT 2026 GD / PI: The candidates who qualify in ULSAT 2026, have to appear for GD / PI. The GD / PI is usually held in person. However, due to the endemic situation, it can be also held online via video conferencing procedure. The schedule for GD and PI is also announced separately after the results are out. The qualified candidates need to appear for GD / PI as per the schedule.

On the ULSAT exam day, you must keep the following documents along with your admit card:

No, you cannot get into a National Law University (NLU) with a ULSAT score. NLU admissions for the 25 participating NLUs is done through the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). For NLU Delhi the AILET is conducted. ULSAT is for UPES, not NLUs, so you need CLAT or AILET scores.

The ULSATisn't considered extremely tough, especially if you're preparing for exams like CLAT. It is a moderate-difficult exam conducted in online mode with no negative marking. As the pattern is similar to other law entrance exam it is easy to clear.
