Great learning with helpful faculty and academics. Placements need some improvement.

Placements: Most students from our batch shifted to higher studies or research, so placements were limited. A few internships and teaching opportunities were available. College supported students in exploring future career paths through guidance and exposure.

Infrastructure: Department had good classrooms, well-equipped labs, and access to the central library. Wi-Fi and basic facilities were available. Hostel rooms were manageable, food in the mess and canteen was average, and medical and sports facilities could improve.

Faculty: Botany faculty were supportive, approachable, and knowledgeable, always encouraging us to explore beyond the syllabus. Teaching quality was good and clear. Curriculum was well-structured, helpful for higher studies and research. Exams were moderate, and most students passed with steady preparation.

Other: I completed M.Sc. Botany (2023-2025) from Christ College, Utkal University. Supportive faculty, good labs, and an active campus made the course worthwhile, though more research facilities would help.

College life is the best life.

Placements: I am an M.Sc. computer science student. In our college, many companies come to hire students from different branches, like MCA, MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc., etc. These departments have better placement support. Companies such as Infosys, HDFC Bank, Wipro, ICICI Bank, etc., have visited the campus in recent years.

Infrastructure: In our college, all types of facilities are available for all departments. Our college provided the best classrooms for all students, the best Wi-Fi facilities are provided for all, and the best lab and library facilities are provided by our college for all students. Our hostel life is the best life for all of us. We are all enjoying our hostel life.

Faculty: The faculty at our college is experienced and strong in core departments. Most professors hold PhDs and have years of teaching or research experience. Some departments have visiting faculty and guest lectures from professionals. In our college, courses are heavy theory, but many departments include projects and fieldwork. Our college follows the semester system for all courses.

It has great infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 70 students get placed in our course. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 2.5. The average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting usually offers Fintech companies roles like finance analyst, bookkeeper, equity research analyst, etc. Many other IT firms also come to campus for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is great. Labs, classrooms, washrooms, and Wi-Fi everything is satisfactory. Hostel food is average. Sports events are organised by the university every season. The campus really provides a good environment for focusing on studies.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but the management of the department is not that good. Lectures are not that framed. The course curriculum is relevant and exams are tough. The pass percentage is around 70%. Exams for our department are not that tough but are more practical so it is a good aspect.

Other: I chose this course because FinTech has a bright future and there are many emerging opportunities in it. If I had to improve this course I would work on giving students more practical knowledge. The college organises events.

The infrastructure and management are poor, with fake promises and money fraud.

Placements: There are no students from our course placed through the college. A 0% placement rate is recorded. The companies that visited for recruitment offered unpaid internships for a short period. As a result, no data is available regarding the highest and lowest packages, but I can say the average is 2.5 LPA. There are no internships offered through the college department.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but is not provided for students. Labs are also not provided to perform practicals, and classrooms are not fixed. The AC does not work well in summer. There is no hostel is provided for out-of-state students, and no instructions are given properly. There is no canteen, and regarding sports, only news is spread via messages, but there is no support from the coordinator.

Faculty: Some contact-based teachers come, and faculty changes every month. As a result, students are not educated as per their needs. The course does not make sense at all, and 0% of this course is useful. The papers are not very difficult, and the passing percentage is 35%.

Other: When I enrolled in this department, at that time it was very well organized and handled by a private team. However, now it is under Gujarat University, and nothing is going well.

Placements: Data Science, Research Scientist, and Data Analyst were the key career paths. There were no placements in the college, so students had to apply off-campus before completing the course. Students had to find internships on their own. Many professors visited the institute for seminars and conferences, and students could directly approach them.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility was good. There was no scope for sports. Classrooms were all air-conditioned. The quality of food was good, but there were difficulties regarding medical facilities. The library needed improvement as more books were required. There were no labs in the college, and students had to carry their own laptops.

Faculty: A minimum of 55% was required in all papers to pass the exam. Students needed rigorous study to clear the exams, as the level of the question papers was standard. Teachers were helpful, and Ph.D. students also provided assistance. Students had to prepare themselves to be industry-ready, but they were given guidance.

Other: Sudarshan Padhy was one of the best for machine learning. Pure Mathematics needed improvement. NBHM awarded scholarships to the top five students in both B.Sc. and M.Sc.

Placements: I'm not sure about exact percentage of students who secure placements and the salary package offered. However, some reputed companies and industries visit our college and provide placements. Students are admitted here through the CPET entrance exam, so all the students are very intelligent.

Infrastructure: Kendrapara Autonomous College is a very big and good college. It has very good infrastructure. Classrooms and labs are neat and clean and in better condition. A government hostel is available for students. Also, there are many private mess and hostels. It has a big playground also.
