VIT Vellore via its VIT Business School offers a three-year full-time BBA course at the UG level. VIT Vellore BBA is designed with the CAL method, which facilitates the completion of professional certificates such as ACCA along with the respective degree. The course curriculum of this programme is distributed among six semesters of six months each, which also includes soft-skills training.

The mode of application is online for all courses. The application fee to be paid is 600. Below is the VIT Vellore BBA admission process:

1: Visit the official website of VIT Vellore, www.vit.ac.in/. Head to the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'PG Programmes'.

2: Register by addressing all the registration details as shown in the below snip:

3: Log in with the registration details to activate the VITBEE applicant account.

4: Fill out the remaining application form by addressing guardian details, address of communication, academic qualifications, etc. An application number will be generated that has to be saved for future reference.

5: Pay an application fee of 600.

6: Upload scanned photograph and signature along with other documents as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities. Click on final submission once done.

VIT University: A place that you cannot miss in your lifetime.

Placements: The basic eligibility for sitting in the placement is to have a minimum CGPA of 7, and you have to have a score above 65% in your 10th and 12th grades. The highest package is 16 LPA, and the average is around 4-6 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte, Empower, NielsenIQ, and many other top MNCs.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms are air-conditioned and smart classrooms, with projectors and speakers, and arch classrooms with rolling chairs. Every room is equipped with Wi-Fi facilities. All the hostel rooms are highly maintained, and AC and non-AC rooms are available. All the rooms in the hostel have Wi-Fi connectivity. You have different types of mess options like veg, non-veg, and special.

Faculty: All the teachers at VIT are Ph.D. scholars and also professional industry personnel. All the faculty are very supportive of the career and friendly. The curriculum is up to date and approved by UGC. All the current skills the industry expects are provided to the students from time to time. The college conducts 3 main exams per semester, and the exams are moderate to difficult. Teachers will equip us to attend the exams and achieve very good marks.

Other: As starting a career in business administration is related to doing an MBA, and an MBA will cost around 15-20 lakhs, spending less on a BBA will be a very good option. A university like VIT has a brand value and face value. The college life in VIT is very vibrant, and there are many cultural fests happening frequently on the campus.

A very good and decent college with nice infrastructure and lovely campus life.

Placements: VIT is known for having good placements. For example, in 2024, two students received the highest salary package of INR 88 Lacs per annum. The average package is around 10 Lacs per annum. All of this information is about VIT Vellore campus only. In 2023, the highest package was INR 1.02 CPA.

Infrastructure: A/C labs and a large library both are the highlights, I feel. It has the world's largest Thirukkural book ever made, which is located in the library. The full campus is very cool as there are many trees in it. Greenery all around the campus. Vellore as a city is very hot, but inside the campus, it doesn’t feel so.

Faculty: Faculty members are decent, but a few have the North-South bias (I personally feel that). But there are a few really good faculty members who are available all the time when students need them. All doubts are easily cleared. They teach you in either of the languages you talk in—Hindi, Tamil, or English.

Bachelor of Business Administration at VIT University.

Placements: For BBA, the placements are good according to their fee structure. More than 90 percent of students were placed. The highest package is 4 to 5 LPA, and a maximum of 2 students only get this. Others will get average and low. The average package is 3 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. Most startups from Bangalore and Chennai come for placement. Mostly the roles offered are Sales and Business Development. Sometimes Finance, but rarely. They don't provide any internships; you should search for them on your own.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really very good. They have good labs for students. Also, our college provides free Wi-Fi, but sometimes the signal is weak. They have a well-advanced, high-class library. I'm not a hosteller, so I don't know much about the hostel facilities. The rooms are neat and clean. The food was of average quality.

Faculty: The teachers are well-educated, and all of them hold Ph.D. degrees from top universities like IIM, and IIT. The course curriculum is related to industry readiness. Passing the semester is not that difficult. If you start preparing for the exam 2 days before, you can easily crack it. Our university follows relative grading, which means your grade is based on the class average mark.

Other: I chose VIT because VIT is well known for its reputation and rankings.

Placements: Placements are very good compared to other universities, with flexible options for students in VIT Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The campus has 24/7 security, and top companies visit every academic year. The average package is also good for every student.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and the maintenance of both the college and hostel is also commendable. There is full security and ambulance service available at any time, along with good food in the mess all over the VIT campus. Additionally, there is bus service for students and auto services near the hostels.

Faculty: The faculty is highly rated, and the exam schedules are good. The VITIAN app is extremely useful for students, particularly for attendance. The curriculum is excellent, and there is flexibility with faculty, along with many more facilities provided for students.

VIT is a place where you can get a lot more exposure and do well in your studies too.

Placements: You shouldn't have any backlogs during the final semester to be eligible for placements. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, and many other MNCs visit our campus for recruitment. The highest package offered was 88 LPA to a B.Tech student, while the average is 5 LPA. Most students with skills and no backlogs get placed during these sessions. My plan is to either pursue an MBA at the same university or to get selected in the placements.

Infrastructure: VIT boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure that rivals some of the best institutions globally. Its sprawling campus spans acres, featuring modern academic buildings equipped with advanced laboratories, libraries, and research facilities. The university prioritizes technology integration, evident in its smart classrooms, high-speed internet connectivity, and digital resources accessible to students and faculty alike. Other: I chose BBA due to my interest in it and the quality of education provided. The university has very liberal rules regarding dressing and other aspects. At VIT College, faculty members play a crucial role in shaping students' learning experiences and academic journeys. With a focus on providing quality education and fostering a conducive learning environment, the college emphasizes hiring highly qualified faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. We have two internal exams, CAT 1 and CAT 2. CAT 2 is an open-book exam where most questions are in applied form. The semester exam is called FAT. The exams are quite manageable; if you have learned something, you'll be able to pass the subject. Your internal marks play a major role in passing a subject. The university hosts two annual fests: Gravitas, which is focused on studies, and Riviera, which is celebrated widely. Many celebrities like Armaan Malik, Andrea, G.V. Prakash, Saindhavi, and Samantha have visited during Riviera for performances. It spans three days, with pre-shows as well. Tickets are somewhat expensive. The library is fully air-conditioned and offers a wide range of books. A digital library is also available. The classrooms are fully furnished, and classes are conducted through projectors. Our university organizes numerous sports and extracurricular activities on and off-campus. We have many active clubs that organize engaging activities. As a day scholar, I don't have personal experience with hostels, but I've heard from my friends that the food is quite good, and the atmosphere is enjoyable, with opportunities for outings.
