    A: 

    BBA is a three-year course offered at the UG level. Candidates must pass Class 12 with at least 65% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST and others) with Commerce /Accountancy /Book Keeping and Accountancy /Mathematics /Business Maths & Statistics /Business Studies /Business Management /Business Economics /Economics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination to apply for the BBA course. Additionally, the institute shortlists candidates based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. After completion of the selection rounds, the institute releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification.

    Yes, VIT Business School admission to BBA course is open for the year 2026. The college offers this course to students at UG level for 3 years in full-time mode. 

    Q:   What is the fees for BBA in VIT Vellore?
    A: 

    The total fee for BBA range betweem INR 1.1 lakh - INR 1.6 lakh. The fee, includes a caution deposit of INR 3,000. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. The application fee for BBA course is INR 600. Candidates can pay the registration fee via any of the online payment modes.

    VIT University: A place that you cannot miss in your lifetime.
    Placements: The basic eligibility for sitting in the placement is to have a minimum CGPA of 7, and you have to have a score above 65% in your 10th and 12th grades. The highest package is 16 LPA, and the average is around 4-6 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte, Empower, NielsenIQ, and many other top MNCs.
    Infrastructure: All the classrooms are air-conditioned and smart classrooms, with projectors and speakers, and arch classrooms with rolling chairs. Every room is equipped with Wi-Fi facilities. All the hostel rooms are highly maintained, and AC and non-AC rooms are available. All the rooms in the hostel have Wi-Fi connectivity. You have different types of mess options like veg, non-veg, and special.
    Faculty: All the teachers at VIT are Ph.D. scholars and also professional industry personnel. All the faculty are very supportive of the career and friendly. The curriculum is up to date and approved by UGC. All the current skills the industry expects are provided to the students from time to time. The college conducts 3 main exams per semester, and the exams are moderate to difficult. Teachers will equip us to attend the exams and achieve very good marks.
    Other: As starting a career in business administration is related to doing an MBA, and an MBA will cost around 15-20 lakhs, spending less on a BBA will be a very good option. A university like VIT has a brand value and face value. The college life in VIT is very vibrant, and there are many cultural fests happening frequently on the campus.

    Bachelor of Business Administration at VIT University.
    Placements: For BBA, the placements are good according to their fee structure. More than 90 percent of students were placed. The highest package is 4 to 5 LPA, and a maximum of 2 students only get this. Others will get average and low. The average package is 3 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. Most startups from Bangalore and Chennai come for placement. Mostly the roles offered are Sales and Business Development. Sometimes Finance, but rarely. They don't provide any internships; you should search for them on your own.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really very good. They have good labs for students. Also, our college provides free Wi-Fi, but sometimes the signal is weak. They have a well-advanced, high-class library. I'm not a hosteller, so I don't know much about the hostel facilities. The rooms are neat and clean. The food was of average quality.
    Faculty: The teachers are well-educated, and all of them hold Ph.D. degrees from top universities like IIM, and IIT. The course curriculum is related to industry readiness. Passing the semester is not that difficult. If you start preparing for the exam 2 days before, you can easily crack it. Our university follows relative grading, which means your grade is based on the class average mark.
    Other: I chose VIT because VIT is well known for its reputation and rankings.

    A very good and decent college with nice infrastructure and lovely campus life.
    Placements: VIT is known for having good placements. For example, in 2024, two students received the highest salary package of INR 88 Lacs per annum. The average package is around 10 Lacs per annum. All of this information is about VIT Vellore campus only. In 2023, the highest package was INR 1.02 CPA.
    Infrastructure: A/C labs and a large library both are the highlights, I feel. It has the world's largest Thirukkural book ever made, which is located in the library. The full campus is very cool as there are many trees in it. Greenery all around the campus. Vellore as a city is very hot, but inside the campus, it doesn’t feel so.
    Faculty: Faculty members are decent, but a few have the North-South bias (I personally feel that). But there are a few really good faculty members who are available all the time when students need them. All doubts are easily cleared. They teach you in either of the languages you talk in—Hindi, Tamil, or English.

    Placements: Placements were great. There was a dedicated placement committee for recruitment. The entire process was well-executed. Top recruiting companies were Wipro, ITC, HUL, etc.
    Infrastructure: Facilities were excellent. The infrastructure was very good. The food served in the mess was decent. It was a good college in all aspects.
    Faculty: Teachers were great. They were experienced and knowledgeable. They also provided in-depth knowledge to students. Teachers always clarify our doubts. The teaching quality was better to make us understand every topic easily. Semester exams were not difficult.

    Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Around 100% of students got internships in this course. Almost 2534 students got an average salary package of 5.5 LPA.
    Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available. There is a 4-storeyed library. Sports are conducted in this college. The central library subscribes to national and international print and e-print. It has a specialized collection of books, journals, and other resources in Maths and Science, engineering & technology, and humanities.
    Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not difficult. Teaching at VIT is structured around the schools of study. A student is registered in one of the schools.
    Other: The course has high demand in the market. The best thing about this course is that we can learn easily. Scholarships are provided to merit students.

    Placements: The placement percentage is high. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, Deloitte, etc. These companies provide high salary packages. The highest salary package offered is 43 LPA. The salary packages are increasing every year.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and it can accommodate a lot of students. The hostel is clean. The hostel has air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms, beds, etc. It also has costly apartments. The food served in the hostel is tasty.
    Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and helpful. The course curriculum is different as it provides us with more learning and value-based thinking skills. Teachers provide internship projects to have more experience-based learning.
    Other: Our college is worth the money paid.
