VIT-AP University Course Admissions 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University does offer a Bachelor degree programme as  a dual degree programme with Master of Arts. The dual degree programme is offered in a full-time mode. The UG+PG level course lasts for five-year with ten semesters that combines core subjects with a major. However, the BA-MA dual degree comes with an exit option which allows students to earn different degrees provided they fulfill the credit requirements. After successful completion of three years with BA degree and four years with BA (Hons.) degree. 

As per the VIT-AP University's official website, MSc dates for 2025 are not out yet. However, the admission is open for the academic year 2025. VITEEE 2025 exam dates have been announced. The authorities will conduct VITEEE 2025 tentatively from April 20 to 27, 2025. The candidates will have to select their preferred slot. Candidates appearing for the upcoming VIT Engineering Entrance Exam can check the previous year's VITEEE cutoff. It is unlikely that VIT will release the official cut-off based on the previous years trends. The cutoff of VITEEE 2024 if released, will be available category-wise. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) accepts VITEEE scores for admission to B.Tech courses. Candidates with a VITEEE rank between 7500-27500 are eligible for admission. 

VIT also considers JEE Main and SAT exam scores for admission to B.Tech. However, VIT doesn't consider any other entrance score for B.Tech admission. 

To be eligible for admission, candidates must: 

•Pass with a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)

Students seeking to apply for any of the course offered at the institute need to satisfy the admission criteria of the course. Admissions are based on the merit of the last qualifying exam, and Personal Interview. VIT-AP fees for the two-year M.Tech course range from INR 3.8 Lacs to INR 4.9 lakh. The course fee can be paid in two installments. Further, candidates must also pay an amount of INR 3,000 as a caution deposit fee, which is refundable. Candidates willing to apply for the hostel seat at the university must pay an amount of INR 2.47 lakh. Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University does offer BCom course at UG-level. The BCom is offered in the Finance specialised in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, and Auditing. The BCom curriculum is summarised with ACCA professional certification allowing students to register for ACCA with subject exemptions. VIT Andhra Pradesh BCom comes with an exit option, where students can earn different degrees provided they fulfill the credit requirements. After successful completion of three years, candidates are awarded with BCom degree and after four years with BCom (Hons.) degree. 

Yes, VIT-AP University does offer an M.Tech course in a full-time mode with four semesters that can be completed within two years. Further, the university also offers two integrated courses that are inclusive of ten semesters, lasting for five years. Admission to the M.Tech course is subject to the VITMEE exam. Whereas, integrated M.Tech admission is based on the last qualifying exam. 

The Vellore Institute of Technology mentions the VITMEE eligibility criteria in the information brochure. The VITMEE eligibility is different for each course/discipline. Candidates willing to apply for the VITMEE exam 2026 must go through the criteria carefully. However, apart from the educational qualifications, here are some other eligibility that applicant must satisfy before filling the form.

• Must have an Indian nationality and must have graduated from institutions located in India with a minimum qualifying percentage of 60%.
• Foreign or NRI/POI candidates must apply separately.

VIT-AP University accepts the VITMEE, which is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology annually for admission to M.Tech in various disciplines. The applicants are selected based on exam performance, followed by online VITMEE 2025 counselling. The application process for VITMEE 2025 registration comprises registration, filling out forms, uploading documents, and fee payment. The VITMEE 2025 exam is conducted in an online computer-based mode for two hours.
