What are VITEEE Exam Hall Instructions?
These are the guidelines that are followed at the time of attempting VIT exam. It includes -

Candidates must carry following things to exam centre -
- VITEEE admit card (must be downloaded on an A4 size paper with watermark on it).
- Valid photo ID proof (Aadhar card/PAN card/Voter ID/Driving License/Passport) with photograph/Class XII board admit card with photograph
- Pen or pencil for rough work.
Is Calculator allowed in VITEEE 2027 Exam?
No, calculator of any form is not allowed in VITEEE. Students will have to solve questions manually. The authorities will provide rough sheets during the exam. Before using the scribble pad, students will have to write their name, roll number, etc. After the completion of exam, the rough sheet must be returned to the invigilator.
VITEEE 2027 Exam Shift Timings and Reporting Time
Vellore Institute of Technology conducts VIT Entrance Exam on multiple dates and shifts. The test timing along with reporting time will be mentioned in the hall ticket. VITEEE 2027 Exam Hall Instructions: Reporting Time
It is advised that students must report to exam centre on the allotted day and date only. They must reach their centre at least two hours before to complete frisking process. Students appearing for VIT 2027 BTech exam will have to undergo
- Biometric verification process, as part of attendance and hall ticket verification process. The checking is done before and during the exam.
- Applicants who do not cooperate in the biometric verification will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination.
- In addition, another biometric authentication process will be carried out to shortlist students for admission.

VITEEE Exam Hall Instructions 2027
Inside the exam hall, the invigilator issues certain guidelines and instructions that must be followed properly. The VIT exam hall instructions can be checked below -
- Candidates must sit in the allotted seat, which is pre-allotted.
- Applicants will be monitored through CCTV camera individually.
- They are not allowed to carry any other items or documents apart from hall ticket and ID proof.
- Students must not sit idle for more than 20 minutes, as they will be closely monitored by the VIT observer.
- A rough sheet will be provided in the exam hall for doing calculations.
- Scribe applicants will get a compensatory time of 30 minutes to complete the VIT entrance exam.
- Candidates have to maintain discipline inside the exam hall.
- Also, students will not be allowed to leave the VITEEE exam centre before the completion of exam time.

Each computer is connected to a central server that provides encrypted test in real time. The question paper will be in English (MCQ format) and will appear one by one randomly. - Malpractice is not allowed inside exam hall. If any candidate is found to be misusing the rules, then their candidature will be cancelled.
- Any kind of stationary items, electronic gadgets, or food items are strictly prohibited.
- Candidates cannot write someone else’s exam
- Writing questions and answers on rough sheet or hall ticket is not allowed.
