The placement cell of the university selects the students eligible for seeking placement from the university and the placement cell guides the students and give training to students. The placement cell also provides mock calls, logical reasoning, soft skills, and verbal abilities tests due to all such support provided by the placement cell students can receive good placement packages from the placement companies.

There are more than 394 recruiting companies to give placement and there are around 2,434 placement offers which are made by the companies every year around 90% of students secure their seats in placement opportunities and receive placements from the college itself.  The placement record when compared to last year has increased and almost every year 7% of placement record increases from last-years. Due, to this a growth of 27% in the university is seen every year.

The drop out rate at DTU keeps on changing. Right now it is not very high but there are various reforms that DTU is bringing which may or may not be liked by students. Overall, it is one of the top universities where students secure good placement opportunities.

DTU and IIT delhi are both topmost universities available in India. The placements given to these university students are also good. The infra is quite good for both the universities, hence the comparison between them is not possible. In the end, it depends on students what is best for them.
