• Go to the official website, i.e. dtu.samarth.edu.in. On the Homepage, navigate  and click on "New Registration" button.
• It'll ask for an enrolment number next. Just enter your DTU First-Year Roll Number. Branch selection comes after. Here's the bit people mess up: don't pick plain "BTech-CSE." There's a version with "-N" at the end, BTech-CSE-N, and that's the one you need. Pick the wrong one and you'll likely be redoing this later.
• Then submit Captcha. OTP shows up in your registered email ID. Enter that and confirm it's actually you.
• Then set a strong password. Don't forget to complete DigiLocker step, it is mandatory. This is what ties your APAAR ID to the account. Without it, registration's basically incomplete.
