DU Result 2025 has been announced for the odd semesters (2, 4, 6 and Annual) of various UG, PG, and diploma and certificate programmes on the official website of the university (durslt.du.ac.in). Delhi University released the DU results 2025 for various specialisations of the courses such as BA (Hons), BSc, BVoc and MA, among others in May and June 2025. Candidates can check all the DU results at durslt.du.ac.in. Students can check the DU results 2025 for their respective courses by visiting the official website of the university and entering their roll numbers.

Delhi University Results 2025

Delhi University has its academic curriculum based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and the same is divided into two semesters of six months each, i.e., July-December and January-June. Delhi University calendar year begins in the month of July after the release of the last cut-off for admission to the University.

Q:   What is the DU selection process for B.Ed programme?
A:

Candidates can apply for DU admission via Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Before applying for the course, aspirants must check out the eligibility requirements. To apply students can visit NTA official website. After the entrance test, the cutoff marks are made available beind the login on the official samarth portal of the university. At the time of CUET registration, aspirants must selection DU as a preference.

Q:   Can I get admission at DU in a BSc course without CUET?
A:

No, Delhi University offers admission to the BSc programmes at its colleges based on CUET score only. There is no provision for direct admissions. Hence, aspirants must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The national-level exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted in different phases. Eligible students can apply on NTA website to take the test. Students seeking admission to DU colleges should select DU college plus preferred course at the time of registration. 

After CUET result declaration, aspirants are required to register on DU CSAS portal. The course and college allotment process is done based on the preferences submitted by the students during the form filling. After final selections, students can pay the admission fee to confirm admission.

Q:   How will I be allocated a seat at DU via the CSAS allocation (CUET UG counselling process)?
A:

For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme specific eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following
criteria:

  • Program-Specific merit
  • Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
  • Availability of seats
  • Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by (CSAS (UG)- 2025) or University of Delhi

How to check DU Results 2025?

Candidates willing to download or check their DU examination results can follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of DU (durslt.du.ac.in)

Step 2: Click on ‘Statement of Marks

Step 3: Please select your college name and fill in your roll number along with the captcha. Click on ‘Print Score Card

DU Revaluation/ Rechecking of Results 2025

Delhi University announced the results of the revaluation for all the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and Diploma exams. DU Examination Office endeavours to re-evaluate/ recheck the scripts within 45 days of the receipt of the request. The facility of revaluation/rechecking of the evaluated answer scripts for the DU semester exams is available as per the following schedule:

Delhi University follows a firm pattern of promotion/ passing of a student from one semester or year to another. The ordinances of the marking scheme are different and categorised under two categories:

  1. Three-year Semester Scheme
  2. Choice-Based Credit System
Q:   What is DU CUET UG Counselling process?
A:

Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. 

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories. 

  • The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
  • If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
  • Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
  • Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
  • If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat. 

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round. 

Q:   Are DU applications out?
A:

DU University registrations via CUET usually begins in February every year. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET application process commences online. Candidates willing to appear for CUET exam must ensure to fill out the application form online when released. Interested candidates were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG.

Students can read about CUET UG application process and CUET PG application process to understand the procedure. Followed by the application forms of CUET UG and CUET PG, DU starts the DU CSAS registration for final college and course allotment of students who qualify the exams. The process will began after the release of CUET-UG and CUET-PG results which are expected to release in July. 

Q:   Can I take direct admission in DU for B.Com?
A:

You cannot directly take admission in BCom at Delhi University. You have to follow the process and the University will allot you college and course. For admission in Delhi University starting the academic year 2022 -2023, you have to follow the process laid by the Delhi University which is to register yourself for the CUET exam which is a common entrance exam for admission in Delhi University in undergraduate courses. Delhi University will accept applications for numerous programmes based on CUET (Common University Entrance Test). Your admission will depend on the previous Class 12 scores and the score you obtain in CUET.

There is also a fes structure developed by University which goes as follows: INR 250 rupees for General category students and INR 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EWS. In addition, there is a cancellation fee of INR 1000 for students who wish to cancel their enrolment. After the exam, candidates must register on CSAS portal of DU. The portal will ask about the top 10 colleges you prefer. Then the CUET scores are required to be uploaded online and the portal will show you the college that you are allotted by the university. You can take that college by filling up the required fee and can also upgrade the college option you already have.

DU Three-year Semester Scheme 2025

  • Candidate must pass a minimum 40% aggregate of the overall exam, wherever applicable.
  • In case of internal and external assessments of an exam, the candidate must pass with 40% in each of them
  • A student who has to reappear for a paper of Semester 1, 3 or 5 must do so only in the semester examinations of November-December. Similarly, for Semesters 2, 4 and 6, students must reappear in the April-May exams 
  • Students cannot reappear for practical examinations if failed

DU Choice-Based Credit System 2025

  • A student who appears in an odd semester examination or who was eligible to appear in the odd semester examinations but remains absent in any or all the papers of the said semester shall move on to the next even semester irrespective of his/her result in the said exam
  • A student shall be promoted from one to two years only if he/she passed 50% of the papers of the first and second semesters taken together

DU Exam Schedule 2025

DU releases its examination schedule for all the UG and PG exam papers a month and a half prior to the date of the first examination. Candidates are provided with all the DOs and DONTs of the examinations along with the timetable for the semester examination.

DU Score Card 2025

After downloading the result, candidates must go through all their details mentioned in the scorecard and check if they’re rightly put in. The candidate's scorecard comprises the following credentials:

  • Name of the university
  • Student name
  • Course and year of the student
  • Semester
  • Gender
  • List of subject names
  • Marks scored in each subject
  • Total marks
  • Final status (Pass/Fail)
