IIT Madras Cutoff 2017: Check Category-wise JEE Advanced Cutoff Ranks

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 3259. In 2022, it increased to 3881. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1584 to 1666 for OBC, 961 to 1248 for SC, 558 to 500 for ST, 610 to 862 for EWS, 86 to 165 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

IIT Madras CSE cutoff 2026 has been released for admission to various categories belonging to the AI quota. The JEE Advanced Round 1 closing rank for CSE admission was 149 in the General category. IIT Madras witnessed a fluctuating trend for CSE admission over a period of three years. The year-wise first-round closing ranks for CSE are given below: 

The opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 5365 and closing rank was 5374. The cutoffs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 8323 and 8618. Admission to Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Engineering Design (Automotive Engineering) in IIT Madras - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

IIT Madras Cutoff 2024 was concluded for BTech/Integrated BTech/BS, on the basis of candidates' performance in JEE Advanced exam. The Cutoff was released in the form of Opening and Closing ranks for different categories under the AI quota. For the General AI quota candidates, the Cutoff ranks for different courses closed at a range of 159 and 10682.

DoMS IIT Madras cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the management course, as MBA, based on the candidates' performance in the CAT entrance exam. For the General AI category, the DoMS IIT Madras CAT cutoff 2025 was 85.11 overall and 50 for all the sections, like Quants, VA-RC and DI-LR. 

Students who want admission to this institute need to clear both the overall percentile and the sectional cutoff. Those who clear the final CAT cutoff are then eligible to take part in the selection process that may involve WAT, GD and PI.

IIT Madras JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 was concluded for different courses such as BTech, Integrated BTech and BS. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates closed at a range of 159 and 10682. During 2023, the cutoff ranks for the same was closed at a range of 148 and 11185. IIT Madras BTech cutoff 2026 is available for Round 1 admission across various categories. For the General AI quota, the closing ranks were in the range of 94 and 3028 for BTech admission. Of all the BTech specialisations, the most competitive for admission was Computer Science and Engineering, followed by Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics and Electrical Engineering. IIT Madras JAM Cutoff 2024 was concluded for MSc admission. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI Quota. For the MSc in Physics, the cutoff for the General AI Category closed at 173. For admission to MSc in Mathematics, the cutoff rank for the General AI category closed at 211.
