All faculty members are well qualified from top-ranked universities all over the world such as IITs, NITs, IIMs, etc. Faculty gives you proper knowledge about your queries no matter how many time you ask.
Placement:
Companies like Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer, Asian Paints, Bajaj Allianz, CEAT, Rallis India, etc. visit LPU for recruitment purposes. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the. The highest package offered to B. tech student that is Rs.64 LPA from GOOGLE.
More than that LPU support the student Entrepreneurs through seed funding.
This option most of the Universities are not providing in India.
Hope this information will help you. My best wishes.
Good Luck!

I am afraid your dream of getting admission via lateral mode in IIT Madras needs a little amendment. IIT's do not give lateral admission but accept diploma as equivalent to class 12th and give admission. Hence, if you have scored 75% or more in your Diploma then you can appear for JEE Mains and then JEE advanced for admission.
Best wishes to you.

Tell him whatever he is studying, make short notes so that in final exam he has to only read the notes. Don't get panic.

The admissions are given based on the marks obtained in the 12th exam by a student. Of course, there is a minimum percentage of marks prescribed but it is so low that almost every student will clear this minimum requirement, in the similar fashion the lateral admission in the second year of engineering based on diploma are also done not based on any entrance test but based on the marks obtained in diploma. Here also there is a certain minimum percentage of marks is prescribed but again it is so low that everybody will have scored this marks. Hence, do not worry of scoring below 75% and not being eligible for admission.

It's very nice to see your interest in your son's career. Actually it's very simple. He has to take interest in studies and clear his Diploma exam with good marks. In fact at least 75% since this is minimum required. Then he had to prepare for JEE Mains and after passing it, prepare for JEE Advanced. Scoring good marks is must since then only he will be assured of admission.
