Life in this college is awesome. It may not give you the best experience, but gives you the freedom.

Placements: There are a number of companies that come for placements. If a job is what you are looking for, you will get one for sure, however, you may not get the job that you wish for unless you work hard throughout your 4 or 5 years for it. The issue here is, the job that you want or the company that you want to work for doesn't come for placements or doesn't prefer students from your branch even if they come. All the hype that IITians get high paying packages is true for only a few profiles in a few com...

IIT Madras does not need any introduction. Coming to the infrastructure and facilities, it is one of the best in the country. The college is in the Guindy forest with evergreen trees. Unlike other IITs. IIT madras is in the heart of the city and we have access all of Chennai at ease. The faculty in the college is among the best in the world. We have foreign professors as well. The courses are really tough when compared to other local colleges. Placements are really good and there are a lot of op...

All faculty members are well qualified from top-ranked universities all over the world such as IITs, NITs, IIMs, etc. Faculty gives you proper knowledge about your queries no matter how many time you ask.
Placement:
Companies like Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer, Asian Paints, Bajaj Allianz, CEAT, Rallis India, etc. visit LPU for recruitment purposes. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the. The highest package offered to B. tech student that is Rs.64 LPA from GOOGLE.
More than that LPU support the student Entrepreneurs through seed funding.
This option most of the Universities are not providing in India.
Hope this information will help you. My best wishes.
Good Luck!

Hello,
Sir, make sure your son prepares well as the exam is really difficult nut to crack. Make sure he is thorough with NCERT syllabus as well as previous year papers. If possible, ask him to join a good coaching institute.
All the best.

The admissions are given based on the marks obtained in the 12th exam by a student. Of course, there is a minimum percentage of marks prescribed but it is so low that almost every student will clear this minimum requirement, in the similar fashion the lateral admission in the second year of engineering based on diploma are also done not based on any entrance test but based on the marks obtained in diploma. Here also there is a certain minimum percentage of marks is prescribed but again it is so low that everybody will have scored this marks. Hence, do not worry of scoring below 75% and not being eligible for admission.

It's very nice to see your interest in your son's career. Actually it's very simple. He has to take interest in studies and clear his Diploma exam with good marks. In fact at least 75% since this is minimum required. Then he had to prepare for JEE Mains and after passing it, prepare for JEE Advanced. Scoring good marks is must since then only he will be assured of admission.
