Jamia Millia Islamia MA Admission 2021: Highlights
Jamia admissions to all the MA specialisations is based on a candidate's performance in the University-conducted entrance exam called Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam. The JMI Entrance Exam is conducted annually in offline mode at seven examination centres, including Thiruvananthapuram, Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Patna, Srinagar and Kolkata. After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. JMI selection criteria includes shortlisting of candidates on the basis of scores obtained in JMI exam. The eligibility criteria for each course is different. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam. For UG course, candidates must have passed Intermediate with at least 50 per cent marks from any board. For PG course, graduate degree with at least 50 per cent marks from any recognised university is required.
