Delhi University's admission process for UG courses starts after the results are out for candidates who wish to get admission to UG and PG courses at Delhi University. To get admission at Delhi University candidates need to go through (the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Students need to register on the Delhi University CSAS portal who want to appear in the CUET exam to get admission to the UG and PG courses. Also, under the Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) quota candidates can get admission to Delhi University (DU). Candidates should know that all the Delhi University colleges offer seats for admissions under the ECA quota. Every year, each DU college offers not more than 5 per cent of seats under the ECA quota (subject-wise).

DU colleges notify the actual number of seats available on their official website for admission under ECA Quota (Supernumerary). Apart from this, every Delhi University college has to mention the requirement for different ECA categories on their official site as well as the website of the University well in advance. Candidates need to take part in trials, who apply for admission under the ECA quota. Students should know that dates for preliminary as well as final trials will be displayed on Delhi University’s official website.

The guidelines that candidates must be aware of to secure admission under the ECA quota in the University of Delhi’s colleges are cited below:

Fill Application Form: Candidates were supposed to fill out the application form for DU admissions 2025 online on the official website of the varsity. Further, candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 100 (per event for all categories) in addition to the application fee paid by them for their respective categories. Q:   Can I take admission in DU MBA without CAT?
A:

No, aspirants wishing to apply for any of the MBA colleges under DU must pass CAT. DU colleges offering MBA provide maximum weightage to the CAT percentile. Check below the CAT weighate for admission at DU:

DU CollegesCAT Percentile Weightage
FMS Delhi50%
DBE70%
DSE80%

Apart from CAT, the performance of the candidates in Class 10, Class 12, graduation will also be considered for MBA admission.

Q:   Can I take admission to DU with 60% in Class 12?
A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

Q:   What is the eligibility for B.Tech at DU?
A:

Candidates must pass Class 12 or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with English as a subject of study to apply for Delhi University BTech programme. Besides, aspirants must also appear for JEE Main for admission to BTech programme.

A:

If you meet the general category requirements and receive a score of 650 on the NEET exam, you have a strong chance of being admitted to the Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), in Delhi. One of the most prominent medical schools in India is MAMC, and it usually has high cutoffs. The exact cutoff, however, changes depending on a variety of variables, including the number of applications in a given year, the availability of seats, and the category (General/OBC/SC/ST). The cutoff for candidates in the general category has historically been between 640 and 660, so your odds are rather competitive.

With 76 marks in CUET PG, admission to DU South Campus or off campus colleges is unlikely for highly competitive courses but possible for less competitive courses or with the help of other factors like merit or category. Each course has a specific cut-off which can be known from DU's website.
