It is a good college in Pune for students who score average marks.
Placements: Our college invites marketing companies. The average salary package offered in the CSE course is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Placements are not good in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very vast building for the civil department. We have many labs with proper digitalised instruments. All classrooms have good facilities. The mess is very hygienic. It provides a variety of food items. Our cafeteria is the best.
Faculty: Faculty members are very well-qualified and experienced. They are helpful. They provide new technologies and knowledge. Exams are not very difficult. The timetable has been changed.
Other: Our college was established in 1983.

Good college for engineering/medical students.
Placements: Placements are quite decent (with a decent salary) for computer science and ENTC students since the IT hub lies in Pune itself and they get quality students with ease. Mechanical and Civil engineering students have to expect average placements. Students should start working on preparing their profile from as early as possible from the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: DY Patil Institutes always have a good infrastructure. You may see a lot of greenery and fountains in the campuses which are always pleasing.
College labs are decent but sometimes may lack equipment required for experiments (may not be true in all cases). Technical events and cultural fests are good but funds are limited and mostly depends on the sponsors.
Faculty: Since DY Patil college is affiliated with the University of Pune, you should expect a good engineering curriculum. The faculty of the college is a mixture of old and experienced teachers and new teachers (candidates having B.Tech may also join as teachers). The overall faculty is good to very good; some teachers are excellent though.
If you are planning to join UOP, get ready for a busy academic year (with a lot of fun!).
Other: Campuses are big and spacious with ample parking space. Good connectivity of road and railways to reach each of the campuses.
College crowd is quite diverse, with means you have a chance to make a lot of friends from different parts of the country. College canteens are good and hygienic with a lot of varieties of food.
