AEEE 2026 CBT Guidelines

The examination rooms/halls for CBT are opened one hour before the commencement of the test on the respective dates.
The candidates should take their seats in the examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
If the candidates do not report on time, they are likely to miss some of the general instructions to be announced in the examination hall.

Scores accepted by Amrita campuses: Eight Amrita campuses offering BTech - Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil and Haridwar accept AEEE and JEE Main scores for BTech admissions. 70 percent of BTech seats will be filled based on AEEE scores and 30% seats will be filled based on JEE Main.

Amrita University has released the AEEE syllabus for all subjects of the exam. AEEE 2026 exam syllabus includes 10+2 level topics in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. AEEE Exam Pattern 2026 (Changed)

Candidates can check the AEEE 2026 exam pattern below:

The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th.
All the questions are of a Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.
Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
Answers marked can be changed later, before the final submission of all the answers.
3 (Three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 (negative one) for each wrong answer.

Format of the AEEE mock test: The AEEE mock tests have 50 questions. There are three sections - Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Maths has 25 questions, of which 5 are optional. Physics has 20 questions with 5 optional, and Chemistry has 5 questions with no optional questions. The total time for the mock tests will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Amrita BTech Admission via AEEE 2026 Exam

Below is the selection process for Amrita BTech admission 2026 through the Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam:

Register for AEEE 2026: To begin with, aspirants need to register for AEEE exam if they are eligible.

AEEE 2026 Slot booking: Applicants must do the slot booking to appear in the entrance exam. Admit cards can be downloaded after booking the slot.

Download AEEE 2026 Admit Card: AEEE admit cards can be downloaded from the official website. To download the same, aspirants will need their application number and date of birth.

Appear for AEEE entrance exam 2026: AEEE is conducted in online mode. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam.
Check AEEE 2026 exam result: AEEE result will be declared on the official website on a new date. The result will be a candidate's merit position, scorecard with total marks, and marks obtained in each subject.

70% of seats are reserved for candidates qualifying through AEEE 2026.
30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main 2026 All India Ranks.

The AEEE result is released separately for all phases. Candidates who appear for more than one phase must note that their best score out of all the phases is considered for admission.

AEEE 2026 Counselling: CSAP

DeskCalendar Counselling: May ' 26

Amrita University conducts a common seat allocation process (CSAP). Candidates with AEEE 2026 rank or JEE Mains 2026 percentile score or rank have to register for CSAP 2026. Note that class 12 marks are not considered for the allotment, and it is required only after the confirmation of admission. All candidates have to register for CSAB and enter their choice of Amrita campus (Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil and Haridwar) and branch for admission. The candidates are allotted seat based on their entrance exam rank and seat availability.

 AEEE seat allotment is fully online, and there is no need for the candidates to visit the campus to attend the counselling. All the candidates with AEEE 2026 rank or JEE Mains 2026 Percentile Score /Rank shall be intimated by Email, SMS, and WhatsApp about the AEEE 2026 counselling.

AEEE 2026 Counselling Fee

After the release of AEEE result 2026, candidates have to register for AEEE 2026 counselling. To register for AEEE counselling, candidates have to pay INR 5000.

Some important instructions:

The registration fee is non-refundable.
The registration fee is refundable only if the candidate fails to get any Academic Preference even in the last round of CSAP.
Registration fees will not be refunded if a candidate withdraws from CSAP.
Registration does not guarantee admission.

Candidates who want to apply for the AEEE 2026 exam have to first check the AEEE eligibility. Candidates have to fulfil the criteria for education qualification and age. Academic Profile, documents upload, and scores of JEE Main 2026 may be entered after the publication of the results. It is not mandatory to fill the same at the time of filling out the application.
Candidates who have appeared in Phase I of the AEEE 2026 examination can also appear for Phase II examination by paying an additional fee of INR 600. This is an opportunity given to the candidates to improve their scores.

AEEE Slot Booking 2026 Phase 2

Candidates registered for AEEE have to select the “date and time slot” of their choice, subject to availability, by visiting the University website before the last date. This process is called “SLOT BOOKING.” Test Centre, Number of days and Number of operating slots in a day are finalised based on the number of candidates for a particular city. The allotment of dates/slots is on a first-come come first first-served basis.

If a candidate does not exercise their option, they are assigned a date/ slot based on their availability. To book an Exam Date and Slot, registered candidates need to click the AEEE 2026 slot booking link provided on the University webpage as per the schedule.

How to book slots:

To book AEEE 2026 exam slots, candidates have to visit the official website - aeee.amrita.edu.
Next, candidates have to login with the AEEE registered number, and the OTP sent.
Once logged in, candidates can start the slot booking process.
Candidates can select the test date and test slots based on availability.
Candidates have to choose the AEEE 2026 exam date by clicking on the available date and clicking the continue button.
Then, candidates have to select a test slot based on its availability status. Click the “Confirm Slot” button to confirm the booking.

After a few days, candidates can doenload the AEEE 2026 admit card that will have the address of the examination centre. Note that a slot once booked cannot be changed.
