Note: A one-time College Caution Deposit of INR 10,000 is applicable for all campuses at the time of admission. Scholarship renewal in subsequent years is strictly based on maintaining a minimum CGPA (ranging from 6.0 to 7.0, depending on the slab) and having no disciplinary actions or arrears.

AEEE Scholarship Renewal Rules 2026
The scholarship allotted during admission is only guaranteed for the first year. To continue paying the lower fee in subsequent years, students must meet strict academic and disciplinary criteria.
1. Academic Performance (CGPA)
The scholarship is maintained based on the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) at the end of every academic year:
-
Slab 1 Students: Must maintain a CGPA of 7.0 or above.
-
If CGPA falls between 6.5 and 7.0, the student moves to Slab 2.
-
If the CGPA falls below 6.0, the student moves to Slab 4.
-
Slab 2 Students: Must maintain a CGPA of 6.5 or above.
-
Slab 3 Students: Must maintain a CGPA of 6.0 or above.
2. "No Backlog" Policy
Students must clear every semester without any arrears (backlogs) to remain eligible for the scholarship slabs.
3. Disciplinary Record
Any disciplinary action taken against a student during their period of study will lead to an immediate forfeiture of the scholarship benefit.
Important Note on "One-Way" Slabs
One of the most critical terms in the Amrita Fee Policy is the "One-Way" movement rule. If a student loses their scholarship and moves to a higher fee slab due to poor grades or arrears, they cannot move back to the lower slab, even if their CGPA improves in later years. This process is designed to ensure that meritorious candidates remain focused on their academic performance throughout the four-year duration of the BTech program.
