JAC Delhi Dates 2026: Check Counselling Schedule for All Rounds Here

Registration - JAC Delhi admission application forms are made available online. Candidates have to register online on the official website. To register, candidates have to login to the counselling portal with their JEE Main application number and password. Under the login, candidates have to fill in some additional details and complete the application process.

Choice filling -  Candidates select their preferred colleges and courses from a list of available options based on their eligibility after registration. These choices should be ranked in order of priority, as seat allotment depends on these preferences and the candidate's JEE Main 2026 rank. While candidates can add as many options as they like, any changes to the list must be made within the official counselling schedule. Once the choices are locked, a printout of the final selection should be taken for future reference.

Seat allotment results- Candidates are then allotted courses and institutes as per their JEE Main 2026 ranks and eligibility criteria. The JAC Delhi seat allotment result is published on the official website under the respective logins of the candidates. Only the candidates who will have completed the registration and choice filling process by the deadline are allotted seat in JAC Delhi counselling 2026. Once the seat is allotted, candidates are issued a provisional JAC Delhi seat allotment letter. This letter will have the institute and category/subcategory allotted to the candidate. Candidates must download the provisional seat allotment letter. 

Seat confirmation and fee payment- After issuance of the seat allotment letter, candidates have to make the fee payment, confirm their seats and freeze their allotted seat if they do not want any upgradation of seat/institute as per their filled choices. Candidates have to submit their willingness against the seat allotted to them. They will be given the option to float the seat or freeze the seat

• Float means candidate wants to upgrade the allotted seat.
• Freeze means they are keeping the allotted seat.

Document verification- As per the schedule announced, candidates have to visit the reporting centre for verification of documents after they have paid the seat acceptance fee.

Reporting to the allotted institute- After verification, candidates have to report to the allotted institute for final admission. The candidates should visit the reporting centre as per the schedule. The candidates who do not visit the reporting centre as per the schedule might get eliminated from the admission process.

After the completion of the main rounds in JAC Delhi, spot counselling rounds are held. Joint Admission Committee (JAC) releases the dates for the spot round and the venue for the same. The JAC Delhi spot round dates are released category wise and the candidates have to report for spot rounds as per the schedule. Only those candidates will be considered for seat allotment in the JAC Delhi counselling 2026 spot round who will mark their attendance physically in the given slot. The allotment of seats in the spot rounds will also be based on the JEE Main 2026 result.

The admission process for JAC Delhi 2026 spot counselling round is as follows:

1. No fresh registration will be permitted for the spot round of admissions.
2. The candidate or candidate’s authorized representative can participate in spot round.
3. All candidates who want to participate in Spot Round MUST bring the following documents and demand draft, otherwise admission will not be permitted.
