Banking Courses: Admission Process and Entrance Exams
Since most of the UG and PG degree banking courses are offered by UGC approved institutes and colleges, admissions are done either on merit basis or through university entrance exams. Given below are brief description of banking courses admission process:
Merit based admission: Under this method, candidates are required to fill the admission form of the college and submit relevant details for identification. The admission forms are issued in specific months (as per the academic session cycle). Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria and cut off (if applicable) to be selected for admission.
Entrance exam based admission: Under this method, candidates are required to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the institute/university for admission. The selection committee selects candidates for admission is based on their entrance exam score and academic record.
