NPAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria: SVKMs NMIMS notifies the NPAT eligibility criteria in the admission handout. NPAT exam is conducted for admission at UG level after Class 12. NPAT 2026 will act as the gateway exam for admission into BBA, BCom, BSc, etc. Candidates find NPAT 2026 eligibility criteria for BBA, BSc, BCom, among other courses. According to NPAT eligibility criteria 2026, candidates passing Class 12 with minimum score requirements are marked eligible to take NMIMS NPAT exam. Candidates meeting eligibility conditions laid down by NMIMS are allowed to fill NPAT 2026 application form.

NPAT eligibility criteria for all courses mentioned above vary in terms of educational qualification. However, the basic eligibility conditions remain the same.

Q:   What are the subjects in NPAT exam for BBA?
A: 

SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam with as many as three sections. NMIMS NPAT exam is a gateway for admission to Bachelor courses from the following streams:

  • Commerce
  • Econmics
  • Liberal Arts
  • Branding & Advertising
  • International Studies
  • Management

The NPAT exam syllabus for all the streams mentioned above is identical. Candidates need to answer questions from Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning while taking the NPAT exam. Three sections in NPAT exam is at par with any other bachelor's level competitive exam in the country.

Q:   How is NPAT score calculated?
A: 

SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam with no negative marking. Each correct response marked by the candidate fetches (+)1 mark. Since there is no negative marking, candidates do not get any negative marks for incorrect responses or unattempted questions. NPAT score is not released by SVKMs NMIMS, the institute specifies the NPAT merit position along with the results.

Q:   What is the expected NMAT cutoff 2026?
A: 

The NMIMS 2024 cutoff for the NMAT was a score of 248 for admission to the MBA/PGDM course. Hence, going by this score, we can say that the NMIMS cutoff 2026 might be somewhere around this score. 

Although it is an estimated guess and the NMAT cutoff is subject to many factors, like difficulty level of the exam, previous year trend, seats available, etc.

Q:   How many students can do BBA at Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce?
A: 

ASMSOC is one of the top commerce college in Mumbai it is always at top priority for students intrested in BBA course. Admission in ASMSOC for BBA is taken through NPAT entrance exam. College has high cutoff but for BBA course 600 seats are available in ASMSOC. College has very limited seats in BBA to get admission students must clear NPAT with score of above 75 percent. Only after scoring above 70 percentile students can get admission in ASMSOC. You can check shiksha's website Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce last year cut off for basic info.

After joining the course, candidates are required to obtain 112 UCAS Tariff Points from A Level exams and a minimum of 6.0 bands in IELTS or 80 in TOEFL

NPAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates aspiring for any of the NPAT courses should not exceed the upper age limit of 25 years. Such candidates are marked ineligible and will be disqualified at the time of admission, irrespective of their NPAT scores.

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Navi Mumbai provides various B.Tech courses like B.Tech in Computer Science and Business System and BTech in Computer Engineering etc. A student need to have aggregate of 45 % in 10+2 along with required score in accepted examinations like NMIMS CET, JEE Mains, MHT CET. Cutoff and merit list can be affected by the number of students, availability of seats and past trends etc. The cutoff for B.Tech in NMIMS Navi Mumbai are not out yet but  based on the past trends of cutoff a safe score can be 200 or above . 

Q:   Can I apply for NMIMS NPAT exam offline?

No. SVKMs NMIMS does not facilitate an offline application process for NPAT exam. Candidates have to apply for the NPAT exam online on the official website. SVKMs NMIMS will not entertain any requests for an offline submission of the NPAT application form. After submitting the NPAT application form online, candidates are not required to submit the filled in copy of the NPAT form at the NMIMS campus.

NPAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Highlights

All courses offered based on NPAT 2026 have similar eligibility conditions with a slight difference in educational qualification. NPAT common eligibility criteria for all courses is mentioned below:

  • Candidates who did not pass the 10+2 level exam from national or state level boards are also eligible. However, candidates holding International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Certificate or DP or CP awards) must have completed 24 credits courses. They should have passed three subjects at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL), irrespective of the stream.
  • The aggregate percentage of all subjects the candidate opted for and appeared will be considered to evaluate the minimum qualifying score.
  • In cases where the mark sheet issued by the 10+2 or equivalent Institution is in percentile, all subjects' aggregate percentage will be considered.
  • In case the 10+2 level institution provides Grade Point Average, such candidates must produce a document, in writing, issued by the Board, the equivalent percentage for the GPA / CGPA obtained.
  • Candidates applying based on IB certificate will be granted a provisional admission based on the predicted scores until they submit the final mark sheet. The admission fee will be accepted from such candidates; however, the admission will be confirmed once they submit the final mark sheet before the commencement of the course.
  • Candidates applying based in the international board must submit a copy of AIU notification stating the eligibility of the course as equivalent to 10+2 exam.
  • Candidates must submit a single mark sheet stating he/she has passed all subjects. Compartmentalised mark sheets will not be considered.
  • Candidates who do not possess the final mark sheet at the time of admission must submit an internet copy of the result duly attested by the school's Principal.
  • Candidates who are to appear for the final exams of the 10+2 level are also eligible to apply. However, they must obtain the minimum eligibility criteria within the stipulated time.

Candidates failing to fulfil the eligibility mentioned above conditions will not get admission based on NPAT, irrespective of their exam scores.
