NSAT 2026 syllabus for BTech

Tips to prepare for NSAT 2026
- NSAT is an easy exam, so it will not take much time to prepare for it.
- BTech applicants need to revise their Class 12 subjects and they will be sorted.
- BBA, BA LLB and BBA LLB applicants need to study quants, reasoning and general awareness.
- Candidates can prepare for these subjects with NSAT sample papers and BBA entrance practice questions.
- About 2-3 months will be more than enough to prepare for NSAT.
- Those who have prepared for JEE Main or CUET may need lesser time.
NSAT 2026 FAQs
Check below some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on NSAT 2026:
NSAT exam preparation includes covering the syllabus topics wise and practice of sample questions. The syllabus pertains to subjects studied in class 11 and 12, so essentially it will require revision of the same.
Sectional weightage in NSAT is equal for all sections. NSAT BTech paper has 25 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Similarly, NSAT BBA, BA LLB, BBA LLB papers have 25 questions each in English, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness.
NSAT result is shared with candidates in email. Those who appear for the exam receive their scorecard in email as attachment. Test takers must keep a check on their registered email ID for NSAT result. Incase, a candidate does not get the result on time they must check their spam/junk folder. They can also contact the examination body to obtain their result.
It is not compulsory to attempt all sections of NSAT, but it is recommended to do so. Skipping an entire section will affect your overall score and you might not make the cut.
NSAT is a low difficulty level exam. The questions are simple and straightforward. All the questions are in MCQ format with four options so it is easier to answer them. There is no sectional cut off requirement.
NSAT preparation does not require too much time. It is an easy exam and about 2 months will be enough to prepare for it.
