IIT Kharagpur’s MHRM 2017 registrations underway, window closes February 19

The application process of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur’s PG programme in Human Resource Management is currently underway.

Interested applicants can apply online before February 19, 2017, following which the selected candidates will be invited for Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. Final list of selected candidates for admission will be released on March 30, 2017 and the classes will begin in July.

Here’s an overview of the admission process and criteria:

Eligibility:

The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in Graduation in Engineering stream, or Postgraduate degree with 60% marks in Science, Commerce or Humanities and Social Science from a recognized University.

The candidate must have appeared in CAT 2016, the national level management entrance exam conducted by IIM.

Interested candidates can apply online by creating a login ID on the official website of IIT Kharagpur.

The duly filled online form is to be downloaded and sent by post at the following address.

The candidates must attach all the necessary documents like marksheets of previous qualifying exams, CAT 2016 scorecard, proof of date of birth and work experience certificate ( if applicable).

Application fee of Rs 1600 (Rs 800 for Reserved category students) can be paid online through credit/debit cards or internet banking.

The two-year programme Master of Human Resource Management is being offered at the prestigious IIT campus since 1982. Earlier known as M Tech in Human Resource Development, the programme was rechristened as Master of Human Resource Management in 2010.
