B.E. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by Acharya Institute of Technology

Our college provides good infrastructure.
Placements: Students have to pass all the subjects and maintain a good CGPA to get placed. Placements are not provided with high salary packages because a civil engineer requires some experience.
Infrastructure: Our college is good for civil engineering courses. Its infrastructure is good. Hostel facility is available in our college. Library facility is good and useful for various purposes.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good. The HOD of our department is good. External exams are conducted in our college itself. Internal exams conducted by the management are easy to score.

The infrastructure of the college is so fascinating but the way of teaching is so poor.
Placements: None of the companies came to our college for placements. I waited for 3 years for placement companies. The college is busy organising events. Trust me this college is so pathetic. No one will ever recommend this college to any one not even to their enemies.
Infrastructure: All the facilities in our college are excellent but the teachers are poor. The college campus is full of greenery and with a big playground for cricket and football. All the structures look so good with good architectural touch. I feel that this college is good in infrastructure only.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are only working for themselves. They only order. During the exams, they will tell you that they had taught you everything but in reality, you will come to know that they had taught you only 1 chapter.

Felt satisfied for the first 2 years but the Next 2 years are fatal of corona.
Placements: As of placements, very less. May be around 5 percent students from our batch are placed from campus. The highest package is 4.5 Lacs. Infosys is the top recruiting company, but no offer letters are received. None got internships from college side. Regardless
Of branch most of the drives are for IT.
Infrastructure: Good hostle facility, but costly. Food is ver good and maintains kitchen very neatly. Laundry available (hostle fee includes laundry with iron). Beds spreads will be changed every week, room will be cleaned every day. Television is also there in each floor.
Faculty: Good faculty, exam system is also good, every time the exams are held in different branch buildings. Good library system available to read or study without any disturbance. Even digital library system is also available in the central library. Tea or coffee are also available in library.
Other: Very good environment in and around the campus.

Disappointed with faculty members and with the classrooms.
Placements: The students scoring 80 percent and above are placed in our college. The highest was 1lakh per month, the average was 50 thousand per month, the lowest was 25 thousand per month. Hindustan construction company, L & T, Tata projects etc. are some of the recruiting companies. Students from 80 percent got a internship with Tata projects. Construction manager, environmental engineering are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are up to the mark except with some classrooms and toilets etc. Coming to availability of infrastructure, it is wonderful. There is wi-fi which we cannot use. Computers in labs are not genuine to use. Our college has the best library in Bangalore, and I can assure that.
Faculty: Coming to faculty members, there are some faculty members who bias among students. More Differentiation can be seen. Teaching quality must be improved. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the student industry ready. Semester exams are little bit tougher. The passing percentage is 40%. .
Other: I chose this course because I had some interest in getting into public service, I thought this was a better way to help our public and our environment.

Infrastructure and facilities are good, but placements for civil branch needs to be improved.
Placements: I am Mubin Nagaralli student of Acharya Institute of Technology from the civil engineering branch and pass out in 2020. Placements are started now, and none of the students got placed until now from the civil branch. However, many students got placed from the IT branch. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Infosys, Mind Tress, Cognizant, etc., are the top recruiting companies. The assistant engineer is the top role offered to students. The highest salary offered is Rs. 1 lacs per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Almost 80% of the students got an internship in different companies like Namma Metro, Nandi Toyota, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructures in Bangalore. Wi-Fi facility is available. The library is digitalised. Classrooms are clean and equipped with air-conditioner. The quality of the hostel is moderate and well-maintained. The quality of the food is okay. The canteen is good. The medical facilities are good, including a personal ambulance. Sports are well supported here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and knowledgeable, but they need to make the students focus on further goals and placements. The course curriculum is not that relevant, and it does not make students industry-ready. The syllabus is improved, but it needs to be improved more.
Other: I have chosen this course because I can be an entrepreneur, and I can start my career independently. I wish that the syllabus of VTU should be improved. Events and fests are appreciable, and a huge number of campus crowd make it possible. The campus surrounding needs to develop a quite.
