Good college for enjoyment, but not too much worthy for your career.

Placements: Placements here are not so good, you may barely find any package after UG. You may get placed after PG, with a around 4-5 LPA. Some companies are TCS, Lakme, L'Oreal Paris, etc. Around 4 students get placements from my course in a batch of 40 students. We mainly work in cosmetics, chemical technology, and other subsidiary companies.

Infrastructure: In college, you will get Wi-Fi facility that works almost all the time. There is no hostel facility here, so you will have to search for rooms, PGs, etc. There is an indoor badminton court, which is amazing, and there is also a basketball court. There is NCC, which is great, and there is a lot of scope for sports in this college.

Faculty: Like in all colleges, you may find some teachers very helpful, while others can be rude too. The curriculum is not totally upgraded, but you may get some companies, and the course is not so old that you can't get a placement. Exams are easy here, I think, and you can easily pass the exam reading on last night.

Other: This course is allotted to me by CUET UG, and I was not able to change it. But, the course is not too bad. Events are too good, and the annual fest here is called The Tide. The scholarship you get is around Rs. 2,000 to 4,000, so it's not that much worth it. Surroundings are too good, and it's nearby to the bus stop, so you can easily access it. The extracurricular activities include dance, singing, and drama activities.

ARSDC has great vibes and a great life.

Placements: The placement status for my course is not satisfactory. The percentage of students who get placed is below 25 percent. Our college does provide placement opportunities, but they are mostly for BCom (Hons) students. The highest package is around 5 LPA and the lowest package is around 2 LPA in my course. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG, Tata and Tech Mahindra. Our college organises an internship fair every year so that students can get internships easily. The percentage of students who get internships in my course is around 50 percent. The top roles offered in my course are data analyst, front-end developer and web developer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is great. There is a good Wi-Fi connection, a good library and well-maintained classrooms. Although there is no hostel facility in our college, the infrastructure is top-notch. The canteen food is affordable and tasty as well. A wide variety of food is available in our canteen, from South Indian to North Indian foods. Recently, a juice corner has also been added to our canteen. Sports facilities are also good and all sports are played in our college like basketball, cricket, table tennis and badminton.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and highly knowledgeable. They always help me by solving my doubts and also give me practical examples so that I can understand concepts more easily. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. I feel an internship is also needed to be completely industry-ready, and not all students get internships. Semester exams are not difficult, and the difficulty level is easy. There is a 99 percent pass percentage in my course.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in Chemistry, and this course is the best fit for it. I also got into this college because I took the CUET exam and got into the college based on my marks. The overall experience at this college is good, but I feel there should be a more organised internship and placement system in our college. The annual fest is conducted every year, and celebrities are invited. The name of our annual fest is Tide, and the crowd is mixed here. Some people are friendly some are not. Our college also provides various scholarships to students.

Overall, if a student wants good teachers, campus crowd, and events then this college is for them.

Placements: I am not sure but a lot of students from the last year's batch of my course were placed in many companies. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, ICICI Bank, etc. Around 70% of students at my college got internships in different companies like Wipro. Overall in summary our college provides a good amount of placements and internships.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and course is moderate. Our campus is good. Wi-Fi facility is available on college campus. Classrooms are good. Library provides a big collection of books. Our college has a good environment for study. Canteen is available with moderate quality of food. Overall, campus is also good.

Faculty: Helpful faculty members of the college. They are qualified and knowledgeable in teaching quality. But in exams, you have to do more self-study, don't depend on faculty members. Semester exams are not much too hard, it is easy if study a little good.

Other: I chose this course because the subjects taught in it are my favourite. Events and campus crowd are just beyond imagination, everyone is helpful and happy here.

The accidental college life.

Placements: The placement cell is unable to help students who are average in their studies. If you want to secure a campus placement, you should get good marks. Around 60% of students get placed every year in my course. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: It is above expectations. The college department has been very careful and serious about facilities for students. The only problem is in the chemistry lab where we get a three-hour class. There is no facility to sit for students which they feel is the most uncomfortable part. The college has separate grounds for all games. We have a decent canteen. There are coaches. We have a medical staff. Events and competitions are held for students who want to show their skills in physical activities.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and experienced. They are also very egoistic and rude. They teach us very politely but can be rude if we ask them a silly question. The course curriculum relevancy can be described as having an important role in daily life use and industrial use. Though semester exams are held a bit earlier, the difficulty level can be considered moderate. The questions are like students should have thought process.

I would give this college a 7/10. It depends on what you take from this college.

Placements: In this course, placements are not generally provided, as it is not an internship-worthy course; this is more of a research-oriented course. However, students with other elective courses and skills still try to get into internships. The college has an active placement cell and provides opportunities and information to the students. Every year, an internship fest is organized, and companies like Tata Power are part of it, offering packages ranging between 2-6 LPA, with placements mainly for computer science students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine, but according to needs, it requires updates. The labs need new equipment and apparatus. Other than that, the infrastructure is fine. ARSD does not have a hostel, but funds are said to be allocated to build one for upcoming sessions.

Faculty: The faculty is very well-educated, consistent, and dedicated to its work. The curriculum is relevant and provides practical knowledge in each subject, including skill and value enhancement courses as well as elective courses. The whole program is designed for overall development and is a research-worthy curriculum.

Other: I chose this course because I couldn’t get my preferred course, which was Maths (Hons). I would like to continue with this course and hope to complete my master’s in Maths. Adding coding and programming courses would be an improvement. The campus has many events, co-curricular activities, and various societies for overall growth.
