Placements: In B. MS College of Engineering, the placements are very good, and the highest package is about 44 LPA. The average package is around 7-8 LPA. The college helps students with placements, and many pre-placement offers are provided to students through internships.
Infrastructure: B. MS College of Engineering is well known for its infrastructure and the area where it is situated. The campus is very good, and the hostels are also good. Mess food is top notch, classrooms are well-equipped with AC and projectors, and we have two libraries.
Faculty: B. MS College of Engineering has many good faculty members, with 60 percent Ph.D. holders. Because of the faculty, curriculum, and exams, it is one of the top colleges in Bangalore and Karnataka. They conduct 3 CIEs and 1 SEE. There are many activities other than exams and studies on campus.
Other: I am from the ECE department. My department in BMSCE is considered one of the good ECE departments in Karnataka, and we have a technical fest called Phase Shift and an event called Utsav.

It is worth the money. It needs to update the curriculum. It offers good opportunities.
Placements: About 80-85% of students from ECE get placed during campus placements. The highest package is 30 LPA by Texas Instruments. The average package ranges from 6-7 LPA. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top companies like Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, NXP Semiconductors, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, and Robert Bosch visit the college for placements. Around 60-70% of ECE students got internships either through college or off-campus. Some top roles offered in the ECE department are VLSI design engineer, embedded system developer, FPGA/ASIC engineer, and system-on-chip designer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi has good coverage and smart classrooms. Labs are updated. The library is available with every book, digital access, and also reference sections for self-study. Hostels have clean rooms with good Wi-Fi and security. The mess and canteen have good and decent food. There are medical facilities in BMS Hospital. We have an indoor stadium for indoor sports. It has basketball, badminton, and kabaddi courts. It has a playground for games like football, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Many faculty members in the ECE department at BMSCE are PhD holders pursuing a PhD. They are approachable for academic help, project guidance, and career advice. The course curriculum follows the VTU syllabus, which includes core ECE subjects like VLSI, embedded systems, and DSP. However, it can feel outdated at times. Students often need to take extra online courses. Exams are moderately difficult and follow a standard VTU pattern. Internal assessment plays a key role, and students who attend regularly and stay consistent usually score well. They are approachable for doubts, projects, and even off-campus opportunities. Faculty members in the ECE department are generally well-qualified and supportive.
Other: I am in the ECE department from the 2024-27 batch. I chose this course because of the opportunity for learning and searching on electronic systems. It is value for money and the best place to learn and enjoy. Fests like Utsav (cultural) and Phase Shift (tech) are big highlights. The college also supports extracurricular activities. It has a decent scholarship system. The campus is walkable, lush green, and safe.

It is the oldest private institution but still up to date.
Placements: Batches for core branches have full strength, and these branches are heavily crowded. Topics discussed may not be up to date, but the basics are correctly covered. In my branch, up to 97% of students are placed and top package for this year go to three students. The salary package offered is 33 LPA. To the students hired by Ansys Company.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really good, but the hostel mess food can be better. Variety must be included with better taste. Library is very good. It has all kinds of books needed for course and environment is friendly for studies. Labs are also very helpful.
Faculty: Few faculty members are really above par and go beyond the syllabus to explain topics to students. Course is not up to the mark for industry standards, but I have heard plans where the department is willing to invite a few industry workers to conduct workshops so that we can idea.
Other: Utsav, being one of the best college fests across Karnataka, is a highlight in cultural activities.

Overall, college is decent in everything.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 33 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are ANSYS, Dell, and Fidelity. Our seniors receive the minimum salary packages that university graduates get but it is improving day by day.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in our college such as good food and many sports areas where we play cricket, football, and table tennis. Staff is also supportive. Food served every day is also tasty and wonderful.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive. They help students to study so that they pass the examinations with ease. Pass percentage is 40%, which is the minimum in our college else it is considered a backlog. We have to write the fastrack exam which is a bit costly.
Other: Events in our college are wonderful and held every year, between March and May, but last time it was a bit less crowded than other times. I wish for better management.

Placements: The highest salary package offered this year in the electronics and communication engineering course is 35 LPA. The average salary package offered in our branch is around 6 LPA - 8 LPA. The average salary package offered in the computer science course is 10 LPA. The salary packages range from 3 LPA - 40 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided here are top-notch. All games are played. Classrooms are sufficient for the number of students. There are many auditoriums. The mess and canteen provide food with cleanliness. For medical facilities, our college has a hospital.
Faculty: Teachers here completed their master's in their fields. They are very knowledgeable. They teach very nicely. They are friendly. They also ask students every time if they have any doubts. We are the new batch, so I don't know the difficulty level of the exam. The course curriculum is interesting and covers all aspects.

For better prediction you have to mentioned your category also. The last year highest closing rank in general category for general merit in extended round-2 were 1052 for Govt aided and 1416 for unaided seats. Hence your chances are very less.

If you are from reserved category, then you may have a chance to get into this college. Fee structures varies every year, so you need to contact college. They do have hostel facilities for both girls and boys, but they follow First Come First serve basis. So, you need to hurry up to get a hostel roo
