CMR Institute of Technology MCA admisson dates is inclusive of PGCET exam dates. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka PGCET exam dates 2026. KEA will administer the PGCET Karnataka exam on May 14 (for MBA/MCA courses) and May 23 (for ME/MTech, MArch courses).

Candidates must have three year BCA/ Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering or Passed B.Sc/B.Com/B.A with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level from a recognised university with not less than 50% aggregate of all the years of the degree examination and 45% in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1.

STEP 2: Selection/ Shortlisting of candidates

All the candidates seeking admission to various UG, PG, and doctoral courses is entrance exam-based. The institute accepts the scores of national/ state-level entrance exams for admission to UG and PG courses, such as JEE Main, GATE, and CAT. For PhD, the institute conducts the ULRA Test.

STEP 3: Payment of Admission Fee & Admission Confirmation

Candidates selected for various UG, PG, and doctoral courses need to pay the admission fee of the course to confirm their admission at the university.
