The companies coming are very less, and they don't even take classes, and even if you score, the chance of getting the placements are very less.

All about Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering.
Placements: Since it is a core branch, the placements are not as good as in branches like Computer Science, and also very few people are chosen for campus interviews. The average package is around 4-5 LPA. It is important to develop skills to get placed in a good company. Not only your CGPA but skills also matter.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very old and not well maintained for the fee they are collecting from students. It is old and not worth the whooping fee of 180,000 per year. The food is also very bad according to my friends who stay there. It is better to choose a PG near the campus, as they are cheaper and student-friendly.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and friendly; some faculty members are a little strict, but overall, good faculty with experience and understanding of the subject. There are 3 internal exams and 1 semester-end exam along with labs. The pass percentage is decent, and you can easily score an 8 SGPA by studying one night before exams.
Other: There are many clubs and fests in our college like NBS, Aaroha, Trinaada, etc. Fests like Furore and Vibrations are popular among students.

Life at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering.
Placements: Not everyone will get placements, but most of us in our batch got placements, not for the huge package but an average of 4 LPA. Very few got higher packages. Overall, everything is good; we just have to try harder, put in some effort, and have confidence.
Infrastructure: I stayed in the hostel for one year, but the cost is so high for the facilities, especially for the South guys, as they only provide North Indian food. The cost also depends on the sharing. Otherwise, it's okay. The canteen has only two options, and the prices are moderate, with the taste not so good.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our branch are good in their skills. When it comes to labs, the attendants' behavior is not so good. Teaching is okay, and exams are not so difficult. Apart from the academics, some teachers make a discrimination between students, which is a bad thing.
Other: If you are a Karnataka student and meet some government criteria, you will be able to get some scholarships. Since it's a huge campus, you have to be confident to recognize yourself in the college. There are many fests and events to enjoy.

Dissatisfied a lot because of the faculty.
Placements: Placements aren't that great in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department. Most of the students end up getting into the IT fields as very few core companies come to the college. Hardly 10 people get into core companies out of around 120. The highest package is 19 LPA.
Infrastructure: Labs have old equipment. Some don't work properly. Even the computers are out of date. Some classrooms don't have proper ventilation. Fans though present, don't work that well. Hostel is quite expensive so many prefer staying in PGs. Hostel Food is decent.
Faculty: Teachers are very strict. Everything is in their hands so we should always be behind them. They make us run behind them. Some are okay. They are qualified and knowledgeable but they don't know everything e. g. in labs. The curriculum is relevant. Semester exams again depend on the teachers. Sometimes it's very hard but otherwise, it's okay. The pass percentage in the worst cases is 70%.

Overall the college campus and it's curriculum in academics is good but placement *** here.
Placements: In EEE the placement percentage chances are around 60 to 70 percent. The highest package is 16 Lacs the lowest is 3.5 Lacs and the average package is 7 Lacs. Companies that comes for recruitment are TCS, Infosys, TATA, IBM and Samsung. 30 to 40 percent students get internships in hal, phones pay, Amazon.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our class is not good. Most of the fans do not work and the principal has come in to our department for construction of some power system lab, dcs lab. And in lab, in some of the systems Wi-Fi does not works, so many students have to wait for their chance. Only the infrastructure and facilities are overall good. We get books of all the subjects of our course and their AC conditioner is good. The quality of hostel is average to above average. But the sports facilities is not provided properly. We have one common ground in which 2 to 3 pitches cricket match takes place along with that football match also takes place there. The quality of food is very bad and canteen is somewhat okay, but the medical facility is good in hostel and all the rooms also have good management.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and they help us in difficult situations but some of the teachers are very rude. The teaching quality is not so good. The pass percentage in end semester exams is 40 percent and semester exams are mixture of both hard and easy questions.

Good college with good facilities.
Placements: It's a good placement here. The average package offered is 10 LPA. The highest salary was 51 LPA last year. If you are good at studying, you can easily get upto 7 LPA - 8 LPA packages here. Top companies visit for recruitment like Google and Microsoft, you should be good at coding.
Infrastructure: It's a good infrastructure with all the facilities like smart classes. All the equipments in labs are available. It is not a big college. It has only 28 acres of land. You will get many food shops nearby but you won't get any sports opportunities here. There is only one ground.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful here and a good curriculum is maintained. Semester exams are not that difficult. If you study well, you can maintain a good CGPA. Overall, it's a good college to look for a great experience and good workplace. Teachers are good and helpful.
Other: The main problem of the college is the language barrier like most of the people speak Kannada which will be difficult for north people.

In EEE, you have to deal with a lot of electrical circuits. For that, you should have a interest in these electricity and electronics part like whatever you studied in Current electricity, Semiconductors etc in class 12.Tese chapters don’t exactly define about EEE but they are somewhat similar. So if

Hello Mallikarjuna, In your PUC you have failed in one subject. Right? Firstly i will urge you to clear your PUC. Secondly why insist on engineering? In current year over lakhs of seats are lying vacant across in India. In addition HRD ministry stated that only 50% fresh graduates could get placed.
