Totally dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: When considering placements, it is very, very poor. Placement training and co ordination are poor as well. Less than 10 percent of the students are getting placed every year. We can't even think about product based companies or good service based companies for placement; 90% of the companies will be BPO or KPO based. Students who got placed will be mainly from off campus drives. But somehow management will create false records on placements. And there will be no internship arrangements from the management.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities will be the only best thing in this college. A good infrastructure and peaceful environment help the students to relax from stress. High-speed Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, Well maintained air conditioned library are there. Importance is given to sports, free medical checkups for hostel students will be added benefits to this college.

Faculty: Faculty members of ECE departments are not so good. They are not well experienced. Getting knowledge about core field from these staff members are unimaginable. Clearing papers and improving knowledge is in the hands of students only. Coming to courses, the syllabus will be based on Anna University, Chennai. The books suggested by the staff members will be local author books which are of no use, however, most of the colleges in Tamil Nadu would do the same.

Other: If you want to be a real engineer, then don't even think about this college. But if you just need a degree and want to enjoy your college life, then this will be the best choice. You can learn and experience everything except engineering. Students will be of mixed race. They will be from all parts of India. So this is a major advantage. Every student can learn about all the cultures and practices of other state students.

Review of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College Of Engineering And Technology - DSCET.

Placements: I am from the department of computer science. About 70% of students are placed in the department every year, with the highest package being around 3 LPA. Many top recruiting companies are involved in our course, and most of our students participate in placements for top roles like testing, management, etc.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and facilities are good, featuring a campus with a green environment. Infrastructure such as labs and the library are fully equipped with air conditioning. The hostel facility is average, and the food is better than average. Sports events are conducted once a year.

Faculty: In our department, the staff is well trained and qualified. The teaching is effective, and the curriculum is relevant to us. The semesters are conducted by the universities, so it might be a little tough, resulting in a decrease in percentage for many students.

Other: The reason to choose this course is that it is a leading program that holds high value. All students benefit from improved events and symposiums conducted regularly. There is a varied pass percentage among its affiliated colleges, with some demonstrating high performance, while others do not.

I don't recommend this college, but it is good if you are studying on a scholarship.

Placements: Around 20% of the students were placed, but companies do visit the campus. Companies like HCL, TCS, Cognizant (CTS), etc., offer placements. I have no proper idea about the packages offered. Due to this pandemic situation, companies are not visiting the campus.

Infrastructure: Labs and the library are very useful. The hostel is not at all good, but the food provided is good. We can get anything from the canteen, and the food provided there is good. If you want anything, you can also go out to buy.

Faculty: Majority of the faculty members are knowledgeable and are helpful in our studies. Some of them are good and helpful in every aspect of the students' career, and some are not. They also help us in other curricular activities.

Other: The college has strict rules, and there is no encouragement for events and extracurricular activities.
