Review of DMI College of Engineering.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students are placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top companies like Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, Myntra, Accenture, Mahindra. TVS, Reliance, etc., visit the campus placement drive. Maximum students get placed in the college. The placement process is easy so that every student can easily access it. The college is very supportive and helpful to students.
Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure with all facilities. All the lab equipment is available. The classroom facility is excellent. Laboratories are very well maintained. The library has all the books so all the students from every group can access them. The hostel is well maintained will hygienic food. Rooms are well maintained with beds, having 3 ceiling fans in each room with unlimited Wi-Fi. The affordability is also very good. Every student can have a good future in this college.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good in our college. All the teachers are well trained with some past teaching experience. When I talk about the quality of placements at CU then I am very much satisfied.
Other: This college is suitable for students from middle-class families.

B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2020
2.2
Overall, this college is not good for well-educated students.
Placements: I am studying in the final year of ECE branch, and lots of companies hire students from our course. From our batch, almost 90% of the students got placed in moderate companies. Students got the highest salary package of 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package of 1.5 LPA and the average salary package of 3 LPA. I am from the electronics course, so TCS, Capgemini and other communication-based companies offer placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but the maintenance is quite poor. Classrooms are huge and eco-friendly, and labs are not in good condition. The good thing about our college is the library is simply awesome, and we get a good atmosphere in the library and is helpful for many students. Hostel, food and medical facilities are very bad.
Faculty: About 50% of the staff members are not yet completed their PhD, but they are capable of teaching the content provided in the book. The course curriculum does not make the students ready for the industry. So, they have to other courses like Java and Python, which are enough to join in our core company.

The worst placements in the college.
Placements: The placements were not upto the mark. Only students with more than 8.5 CGPA were allowed to attend interview for core companies. Most of the companies that came for placements were BPOs. I got selected for a core company but I never received any placement offer nor call from the company. Literally, half of the students were not placed.
Infrastructure: Even though the college is spread across the huge area, the infrastructure is not very impressive. There are no adequate washrooms. The auditorium designed can hold huge number of students but it is of no use, since it is a open auditorium and the audio gets diverged.
Faculty: Few faculty members have enough knowledge about the subject while others are inefficient. The library is not equipped with the latest books. The labs don't have enough equipments. Curriculum must equip syllabus regarding the new technology. New innovations and discoveries must be included.

Above average only for placement and faulty.
Placements: Our college gave great placement opportunities for us. But the preparation they gave is not sufficient. If they give proper training for the students in the early stage like in second or third year it will be good. And placements should be given to all instead of depending on CGPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is somewhat good and facilities in the laboratory are not so good. They can give more practical knowledge to the students so that they can make students strong in their department. Not much importance are not given for sports so it should be promoted.
Faculty: Faculty facilities are quite good they are really supportive more training can be given to students so that they can able to survive in the competitive world. Needs more trained faculty to improve the curriculum quite better than before. And more test should be conducted periodically.

Disappointed with the placements on the campus.
Placements: No core or IT companies are offered to all the students. Only a few get that opportunity to get placed in the good company. Most often, you'll get placed in a non-IT sector, BPO, and the other insurance companies. Coming to the placement, our college falls short.
Infrastructure: The college has no high tech infrastructure but had a good atmosphere with more space with lots of trees, which provide good air and shadow inside the college. There is one central library, which is easy to get books, and it is the best spot in our college. Coming to ECE stands, above all the departments are alone from the main building.
Faculty: The faculty members are friendly except a few, who are rude and mean to students. ECE HOD is the most loving and caring person of the department, who never fails to support the students. Coming to the course, they provide what is to be required to clear the examination.
Other: There are a lot of events, which kept our college life alive like the symposium, cultural, sports day, industrial visits, seminars, workshops and so on.

Absolutely satisfied in this college because of the staff.
Placements: Good placement is available. Many companies are taking placements with more than 200 students being placed each year. There is a placement training during recruitment which helps students to get more skills. They have placement co-ordinators. They conduct the placement drive in a very good manner without any partiality. This is the best thing.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure but no Wi-Fi facilities for the students. There are Wi-Fi facilities for students who are staying in the hostel. The library is very good and the classrooms should be improved. Sports facilities are not available to the students so it should be improved and there are no medical facilities in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in my department and the HOD is very strict and good. The ECE department is very good in this college because most of the experienced staff members are in this department. They manage students very well. Teaching in this college is like school with strict rules to be followed.

Our college is the worst in everything.
Placements: Most of the students got placed but with very low salary package.
Infrastructure: College has no Wi-Fi and no equipment in lab. Library has course related books. Mess food is fine.
Faculty: Teachers are the worst. They don't know how to teach.
Other: I chose this course because of my parents. There are no events.
