B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027
5.0
The college has nice infrastructure and friendly staff.
Placements: About 90% of students in our engineering college are placed. The highest salary offered by recruiting companies is around 70 LPA, with an average of 40LPA, and the lowest is around 20LPA. Companies recruiting include Mother’s Son, IBM, BOSCH, and others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and facilities are excellent and top-level. The labs and classrooms are well-maintained. Free Wi-Fi is available in the library, helping us browse for exam-related queries. The hostels are good, and the food quality is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and knowledgeable, teaching very effectively and clarifying all doubts. They provide notes for each subject, which helps us prepare for exams. The Mechanical Engineering branch isn’t difficult; with five theory subjects and three labs, we can pass and achieve good scores in each subject.

The faculty is good, and there are good placement opportunities.
Placements: I got 75% last year, and the highest package of the college is 10 LPA, while the lowest package for Mechanical is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Toyota, and Honda. I am doing a college internship, and our course offers different roles.
Infrastructure: The facility and infrastructure are good. There are different courses available, and labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library are well-equipped. The hostel facility is good, and in the canteen, we get fresh food. The campus also has sports and games events, and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are easier compared to the summer exams, and the passing percentage is 40%.
Other: My batch is the 2021 batch, which is also known as the NEP batch. I choose this course because I like it, and it is easy and good to study. There is nothing to improve, all are good.

The college campus is mostly good, but somewhat old.
Placements: The students who had good CGPA points secured good placements. Many of my seniors got placements, while others received internships in reputable companies. Big companies like TATA, VOLVO, and others took placements from our college, Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities on campus were good, including Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms, and many others like the library and computer labs for different subjects. The library was newly built for each year's students, and the canteen was under construction.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members were very good, and there were three internal exams conducted before the semester exams. The first two exams were held for practice and to earn CGPA points, which mattered a lot for graduation in college life. Many students also worked in groups or clubs.
Other: I chose my course, mechanical engineering because I had an interest in it and was familiar with the field.

For mechanical engineering, civil engineering, never expect for core company, try to push yourself into some IT firms on the campus.

Repairs crew. I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: All students above 6 CGPA can attend the placements. The highest package offered was 24 LPA for Computer Science, and the lowest package was 3.6 LPA. As I was in Mechanical Engineering, the companies that visited our college campus are Bosch, L&T, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is more attractive, and the college campus is about 16 acres. The lab conditions are good in nature, and the lab instructors are also experienced; they explain and teach us well. The hostel is also good and provides food three times a day, with both North Indian and South Indian food available. Wi-Fi facility is also available on the college campus.
Faculty: The professors are helpful, and they are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is awesome. There are 2 CIEs and 1 makeup CIE; internals will be provided, and 1 semester exam is conducted. There is a squad who visits the classrooms during exams. As Dr. AIT is a VTU-affiliated autonomous college, all the exam papers will be prepared by the college itself, and the marks card will be issued by VTU Belgaum.
Other: I have chosen the Mechanical Engineering course because it is an evergreen subject, and my senior recommended joining that course. The events, fests, and surroundings are very attractive. The college also provides scholarships for SC and ST students.

Best for engineering students .
Placements: We have 80 students out of which around 60 got placement offers in college. The college provides placement to very reputed companies which come and take our interviews. We also have startup facilities in the college. The college also works with Google to analyse the data and information .
Infrastructure: The entire college campus and the hostel have Wi-Fi facilities. The library is fantastic, and classes are well maintained. The campus is kept clean. The entire college has CCTV. The college also has many sports teams, NCC, and NSS. There is a canteen also on campus .
Faculty: The college teachers are well qualified and have completed their Ph.D. in universities. Every lecture has a minimum of 15 years of experience in their respective branches, which helps the students. The examination is conducted by the college itself, and they frame the questions according to the new syllabus .
Other: Well, I am interested in mechanical engineering as I choose to do this. The college conducts mainly 3 events, which are really good .

The college life is too good, whereas the faculty members are too experienced and well versed in the subject. Hostels are well maintained with hygiene food and placement records are quite good.
