Good college if you are planning for higher studies.
Placements: In this college, Ceramic Technology has a 100% placement rate and for IT and CSE on campus placement rates are not high enough but most students get placed from off-campus. Top recruiting companies for IT and CSE are TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, etc. For Ceramic Technology, Saint Gobain Glass, Jindal South West Steel, and Tata Refractories are the top recruiters. The highest, lowest, and average packages are about 7.5 LPA, 3.5 LPA, and 4.8 LPA, respectively.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure looks not so bad but not so good either. Campus is not so big but still it is okay. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are also good. Hostel is small but construction is almost done in few months. The hostel will be even bigger. Hostel food is good. There are rooms for playing indoor games like chess, carrom, table tennis, etc. There are rooms for dance practice and playing music is also available. Cricket pitch, football ground, and badminton court are also available for sports.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and experts in their fields. If not all most of them are friendly. The course is okay, it also prepares them for the industry but students must also learn some skills themselves to excel. Semester exams are not so difficult, practicing previous years' questions and learning the concepts is enough. Passing percentage is 50% separately in lab exams and written exams.

Our college is very good.
Placements: 100% placements in our college. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Cognizant, Wipro and many more companies come here for placement. 80% students get placed from my course, and mass recruitment come from Wipro. Top role offered is software engineer.
Infrastructure: It has free Wi-Fi with unlimited internet connection. Drinking water is available. We have many labs in our college, such as chemistry lab, python lab, c+ lab, c lab, java lab, workshop lab, computer architecture lab etc. which are well maintained. Our hostel is very spacious, neat, and clean. The more the distance from your home to college, greater is the probability to get admission in hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Many camps are set by our teachers, such as night camp, moon watching, which are very cheerful to us. Students passing out from this college are always industry ready.
Other: The best about this course is that, I get to be a software engineer.

Good if you only want a degree with minimum studying and less than 1% attendance.
Placements: As an IT undergraduate, I am only talking about the IT and CSE placements. Codeclouds, TCS, Capgemini, and Geotech come to campus. Generally, Geotech gives the highest salary Rs 45,000 per month. In the year 2023, only two students were placed at Geotech. 5-6 students are placed in Codeclouds, salary is Rs 30,000 per month. Moreover, every student has a good connection with seniors, and most of the time seniors or big brother give them a recommendation letter. College authority does not take any initiative to bring companies on campus. College has 50% placement in IT CSE but for Ceramic it is 100% placement.
Infrastructure: College has very poor Wi-Fi. No girls' hostel is present. Few male students can live in boys hostel. Classroom labs and library are very good. New boys hostel is being built. Canteen is not available. Canteen is only open when new admission students come. Hostel and mess food are available. Simply, you can not eat that. Medical, sports, and games are quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are very smart and well enough to guide students in their careers. They are very much knowledgeable. Curriculum is relevant, and college hosts many workshops to make students industry-ready. Everyone in this college gets above more than 8.5 CGPA. Semester exams are the easiest. You can pass it in 2 hours of studying.
Other: This college is still going in the name of Ceramic so Ceramic students get 100% placement whereas IT students find it difficult to get a job. You can barely see students on the campus. There is no 75% attendance criteria so after 2nd year students come to college only to attend lab classes. Every student gets a lot of free time to do their own things.

Not completely satisfied because of administration staff and bad placements.
Placements: Around 20% of the IT (information technology) department students got placed only in 2021. The average package offered is 3.5 lacs per annum, but I don't know the highest and the lowest packages because, before 2021, there was almost no placement at all. The students get jobs on their own (off-campus). Only TCS is the top recruiter for our course. From IT, most of the students got internships on their own, not through our college. Roles like assistant software engineer, junior engineer, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Labs are well maintained. Wi-Fi is provided, but only the college staff can access it. The library is good, and almost all books required for the course are available. The new hostel was built in 2019, and I had never stayed in the hostel. So, I don't know about the food. Sports facilities are provided to hostelers as well as day scholars.
Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified and knowledgeable, and some are helpful (not all). Their teaching skills are up to the mark, no doubt about that. The course curriculum is relevant to some areas in industries. But it does not make the students ready for industries completely because the topics taught during our course are completely out of context when it comes to industries. In 2019, the topics were changed by UGC, but only for the students from batch 2019. It was completely useless for our batch.
Other: I chose IT because I love to do coding. The best thing about my course is the journey I had as a fresher to the outside world. The things I wish would be better is the administration staff since they are not helpful at all (even in this pandemic), and they talk to us like they own the college and not at all friendly in terms of scholarships and other matters since it is an autonomous college.

It is a good and family-friendly college with regular college.
Placements: This course provides average placements for computer science and engineering technology, but in this college ceramic technology students get 100% placements. You can try off-campus placement or do higher studies like M.Tech. It is a nice college. Classes are regular.
Infrastructure: Facilities at the college are excellent. Infrastructure is also good, but the campus is small. Seniors are friendly. There is no ragging. The hostel is good, but the capacity is small. The food in the hostel is good, and the fees are low. Overall, I love this college.
Faculty: Our college has good faculty members. They are helpful. They give their full effort for classes. They are highly qualified. The exam system is good. Semester exams are a little difficult but not so hard. The pass percentage is 50%. Dr Partha Halder is our exam head.
