IFET College of Engineering (Autonomous Institution).
Placements: This is the best college where I have gained lots of hands-on experience. It improves my communication skills and strengthens my concepts. Top companies come for placements. There is a 100% placement rate. Many important companies, such as Cisco and Infosys, visit for placements. Not only software companies but also core companies come for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and the hostel is also very good. The lab and lab equipment are of high quality. The hostel food tastes like home-cooked meals, and the room facilities are good. The classrooms and labs are also well-maintained. Overall, the college infrastructure is excellent.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and helpful. They are interactive with students. They are very good to students. Ragging and other such activities are strictly prohibited on the campus. Faculty helps students and guides them on the right path.
Other: I chose ECE because it has future opportunities, and faculty is very good. I love electronics, so I chose ECE.

It is a nice college to get studied and to enjoy your college life as well.
Placements: 50–60% of students are placed every year in the ECE. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package is 22.3 LPA. Above 70% of students get internships in many companies, like TCS, Accenture, KARR, Infosys, Cognizant, and many more. Hardware Engineer and PCB Designer are the roles offered in this course.
Infrastructure: Our college has laboratories for both Electronics and Communication. In the hostel, the food is very good, and they also provide non-veg food weekly for 2 days. The hostel infrastructure is also very good. They have a cot available in the hostel for all the students. Only three students are allowed to stay in a room.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly, there is no doubt about that. Their teaching quality is also good. All the courses are curriculum-related, and they provide many workshops. Semester exams are difficult, but if you study, you will definitely get good marks. The passing percentage is about 91%.
Other: I was in dilemma whether to choose hardware or software, that's why I chose the ECE course. But now, I would like to recommend the ECE course to other students. Because it is helpful to learn both programming and core.

It is a really good and peaceful infrastructure.
Placements: IFET is providing good placement opportunities. Students are trained in aptitude from the 1st year itself. A student got placed in a dream salary package of 22 LPA. Many students are getting placed in various companies and also as interns. Placement drive is offering extreme support.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. In the surrounding area, IFET is the best for students who are referring safe environment. Hostels are neat and clean, and the infrastructure is also good for students. Course curriculum is framed in such a way that students are gaining knowledge related to the domain.
Faculty: Semester exams are covered from the syllabus. It's not that difficult to clear. Libraries are available to take notes. All the materials are uploaded through the student login in CAMU. All syllabus is covered before the examinations. A maximum 90% pass percentage is attained every semester.
Other: Every year, IFET conducts cultural events, sports day, and guest lectures for various occasions such as Women's Day, Engineer's Day, and even more.

B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2024

Not satisfied with placements but with a good infrastructure and memories and knowledge.
Placements: 45% of the students were placed in my batch. I started my B.E. (ECE Department) in 2020 and completed it in 2024. The highest CTC bagged is 7.3 LPA by TCS-selected candidates in the Ninja role. The average CTC range is 3 LPA and the minimum is 1.7 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Aspire systems and Hexaware. More than 60% of the students are currently pursuing internships in their companies. The top roles of the selected students were software developer, automation engineer and SAP.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is constructed well and has a good ambience. The classrooms are spacious and provide lab facilities for practical experience over context. Our college has a big library block named Ramanujam Block. Hostels for men and women are located separately. Healthy playgrounds are there for playing football, volleyball and other games. The hostel has a canteen with food for the hostelers.
Faculty: The institute consists of experienced professionals with in-depth knowledge of their domain subjects. The curriculum is based on the subjects chosen with open electives chosen by students. It makes the students pursue other modern technologies like AI/ML/DS irrespective of their course . They have the advantage of studying extra content beyond their syllabus. The syllabus is updated every two years. The semester exams are easy as well, not so tough. If you can prepare well with the notes, you can score well. The pass percentage will be like more than 80-85%.
Other: I was in a hurry to take up engineering after completing my school. I don't know which course to choose. Then I chose ECE [electronics and communication engineering]. I chose this course because I can either go to core side jobs or IT. This course had given me major flexibility in choosing my career. The things to improve this course are updating the curriculum with industry-relevant examples and real-time implementations. Various events are conducted at IFET celebrations, like annual meets, sports day and other eventual occasions. The extracurricular activities include an innovation cell, sports and conducting mini-fun events.

Everything about my memorable college life.
Placements: The overall performance of placements was lesser than the previous year. According to 2023 placements record, 90% of the students got placed and in 2024, it was 86 percent. Also. they are actively providing internship opportunities to the students. TCS is one of the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was too good as it was located at the centre of the District. It was really a peaceful having a green environment which improved our mental health. They serve limited food for the students in need. The students are not allowed to go outside without permission.
Faculty: They mostly preferred to take practical sessions, hence the students get some practical experiences to get placed in good companies. They were very focused on their works, and care about the students too. This results in good academic records every year.
