Campus is a huge and is spread across 994 acres of land and it is developing really well.

Placements: About placements, from last 2 years the placements score has been really good. In 2022, 70% and in 2023, 74% students got placed. The highest package went upto 53LPA last year and the lowest was 6LPA. Google and Deloitte are some of the top recruiting companies here. The college is totally worth it.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs and classrooms are all well maintained witt all the necessary equipments available. Wi-Fi is available across the campus and it is very fast. The hostel facility is also nice, we have single occupancy rooms here which are good for personal space.

Faculty: Professors over here are really helping and friendly and they guide us well. Curriculum is well structured and is also getting better year by year. The curriculum makes us ready for our career. The difficult exams are as per the IIT tag and it is a good experience.

Other: Choosing this course was the only option I had as I got it through my rank. But after coming here, my experience was good. I was fortunate to explore a lot of things. The life at campus is pretty good and anyone have a good time in the huge campus which is spread across 994 acres of land.

Our campus have great infrastructure and placement opportunities.

Placements: Almost 87 % were placed in a mechanical dual degree. 30 LPA is the highest package. The top recruiting companies in my course are from the IT sector. Many of my IIT Bhubaneshwar students regularly visit foreign universities. To broaden their knowledge and experience. To highlight student industry interaction at the end of the third year, students from undergraduate engineering streams go for a summer internship as a part of the course curriculum. This summer internship programme helps the industries to harness our talents. Our postgraduate students, teachers and scholars often visit their collaborators in India and abroad for their research works.

Infrastructure: We have great infrastructure in classrooms comprising three big lecture hall complexes. We have good lab facilities and good equipment. Single hostel room for one student with Wi-Fi and internet connection(15GB per day). We have a students activity centre comprising of 5 basketball courts, 4 volleyball courts, a cricket ground with net practice, a football ground, athletics ground, table tennis, badminton, tennis, hockey. We have a good medical facility with a medical unit (24/7) with an ambulance. We have mess with good hygienic comprising both south and north Indian food.

Faculty: All the faculty are highly qualified & having experience of more than 10 years who have done their PhD in foreign and IIT universities. We have a good curriculum including both theoretical and technical aspects. Our semester includes one mid-sem and end-sem examination. The quality questions asked in the exam are 30% moderate and 70% difficult. Approximately 95% of students pass in academics.

Other: Our campus conducts 4 fests every year, they are wissenaire (tech fest), e-summit (entrepreneurship fest), Alma fiesta (cultural fest), and Ashwameda (sports fest). Our campus is surrounded by Brunei hills. Our campus is filled with greenery. We get a fee remission of 2 LPA out of 2.6 LPA fees who have income less than 1 LPA.

Faculty and the course curriculum are really good.

Placements: According to my survey, many students have received PPOs this year. One of the students on our floor has received a salary package of 21 LPA in September itself. Some PPOs were from foreign companies. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 39 LPA, bagged by a girl in this boys dominant IIT society. The average package offered to students of all branches is about 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best when compared with all the 2nd generation IITs. The library has been shifted to the main building this year, so we have a good library facility. There is not much development in the standard of sports here, but we will have excellent sports facilities in a couple of years. We have good labs, and all the experiments supposed to be done at the engineering level can be done in labs. We have some advanced labs here.

Faculty: The course curriculum is vast, but the teachers are really great. Most of the teachers have completed their PhDs from foreign universities. They are very much friendly and are ready to help students. It is mandatory for the students to maintain 80% attendance which makes it difficult for students to pursue their own interests.

Other: The surroundings of the campus are one of the best that any engineering college in India can have in terms of natural beauty. We have a wide range of scholarships like MCM (merit cum means scholarship) and tuition fee remission. You can visit the official website for more information. We have two fests named Alma and Wissenaire, and the college also organises an entrepreneur summit named E-Summit.

Good infrastructure and opportunities.

Placements: The placement scenario is decent because of being an IIT. Most of the placement were core placement this time. The highest salary offered this year was 39 lacks per annum. Main difference this time was that the highest package was taken by girl students in this boys dominant IIT institutions. There is a placement cell in the college and it's really effective. Placement scenario was good for mechanical this year most of the people upto 85% were placed. The highest package was from CSE department. Even some low CG people had placement.

Infrastructure: IIT Bhubaneswar has increased the quality of infrastructure to a great extent. Main building is even almost complete. We presently have building sufficient for all the classes and Wi-Fi we have started construction worth 800 crores. We have LAN connection in every room with personal limit of 3gb per day. Quality of food is poor in mess. We have one shopping complex where we can find some better food and fruits.

Faculty: Ya teaching are very much helpful we have got 4th rank in teaching learning and resources in MHRD ranking 2018 which proves the teaching environment here. Student to faculty ratio is nearly 1:18. Ya cource curriculum is useful not based on mugging up concepts.

Other: There are 3 fest technical fest Wissenaire, enterprenuel summit E-summit, cultural fest Alma. Campus is lush green full of cashew nuts trees 936 acres campus.

Very good in academic perspective.

Placements: 32-35 students were placed. The average package is 9 LPA. The highest package is 31.5 LPA, the lowest is 5.15 LPA. ISRO, Goldman Sachs, IOCL, Adobe, Amazon, Oyo, Tata Steel, Directi, Delta Power Solutions, NCCBM, KPIT, Fitjee, L&T, Delottie, Mathworks, Vedanta, Tesco, TCS, Tata Motors, Samsung are the companies that visit.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is under construction, yet fully functional. All the academics are fully functional through the campus. 2 hostels and 2 more hostels are yet to be constructed, 1 for girls & 1 for boys. High-speed LAN is available in each room. Football, tennis, badminton, hockey, volleyball, athletics are available. The institute has its own dispensary, ambulance 24*7. Labs are fully equipped with the latest technologies and are maintained on a regular basis. The classroom complex is yet to be constructed. For now, classes are taking place in the lab complex and different schools. Hostel rooms are the best you can find in any IIT. Food is great here.

Faculty: Young, helpful and understanding professors with achievements and projects are present. Teaching is vast and laboratory are in sync with the courses you study. Industrial visits are organised by the professor. The course curriculum till now is useful in mechanical engineering.

Other: There are 3 fests, Almafiesta the socio-cultural fest, Wessineir the tech fest, E-Summit the entrepreneur fest. The scholarship is given like MCM/CSSS/financial assistance.
