Review of IIT ISM MNC Branch.
Placements: Placements are very good. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and many other companies will come to college placements. Last time, the placement percentage was very good in our college. Many government companies also hire on our campus. CSE and our campus have a high placement percentage in our campus.
Infrastructure: The course is good. 50 percent of the CSE course is the same for us with Maths. Hostels are very old as the campus is completing its 100 years. The buildings are very old. The quality of food is good, but mostly North Indian food is available in the mess. Medical facilities are very good, as PHC is available on campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful on our campus. Some teachers take special care of students to help them get good marks and give good concepts to them. Yes, our course curriculum is very good and useful for software engineers. Some exams are very hard, and the pass percentage will be above 90 except for some subjects.

Good placements, infrastructure, faculty, and other people are supportive.
Placements: My course has about 80% of the total students placed. The average package offered in 2024 was 30 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies for my course are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Reliance, and many more. I will give it a 4-star in terms of placement.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are great and provide a good environment to study. There is Wi-Fi throughout the campus for easy access to the student portals anywhere in the campus. The library is too great. In fact, it is the second-largest technical library in Asia. The hostel also has everything great in comparison to other colleges.
Faculty: The teachers are very supportive. They care for you and are available at every moment standing by your side. There is no ragging in the campus because the faculty members treat first-year students very leniently and support their mental health. Teachers are well-qualified, and the courses are also relevant.

Decent classroom, very good labs, good faculty. College life and senior-junior culture are bad.
Placements: The previous year a total of 81% of students from my department got placed with one securing the highest package of 2cr (off-campus) in Australia. Talking about internships, there is one senior in the 3rd year right now who was selected for GSOC and got a PPO of a very good amount but he rejected it. He is currently the best person who knows about machine learning on the campus as I have heard.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, not the very best but decent. We have step-up classrooms so no issue about the view in the classroom and the labs are very good. Fully AC with all components working properly and the Wi-Fi in the lab is very fast, 1 Gbps, but the Wi-Fi in the hostel and classrooms is a bit slow, only up to 50 Mbps. Talking about the library, the best part of our campus, it is the largest technical library in Asia with a very good environment for studying. Fully AC and good Wi-Fi and charging ports. Food in the hostel is not very good. Only 1 or 2 days a week they serve good food, otherwise, it is very bad. We somehow manage it but many times eat outside. Sports facilities are very good but they do not have major sports like judo and karate somehow.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The teachers give attention to the students even if they have any basic doubts related to the curriculum. In the first year, there are almost 80% common courses for every branch which I find a little bit irrelevant but it happens in every IIT. The branch subjects are very helpful and I feel that I am learning something by it which adds some value. Semester exams are not very difficult if you attend lectures regularly. You can ace them since most of the questions come from class notes, like what happens in school.
Other: I chose this course because I liked the branch. The best thing about my course is learning how a computer works and how it is related to mathematics. Fests are also decent but they should manage to get Samay Raina sometime.
